Got the ribs dinner plate with mac and cheese and baked beans. Everything came out super good—the ribs were tender and flavorful, and the sides tasted fresh and well-made. They served my food really fast, and it was hot and fresh when it arrived. The service was great and the overall experience was smooth. Definitely would recommend and I’ll be coming back again.

I found this place on Google and decided to give it a try based on the reviews. I ordered the pulled pork, collard greens, and mac and cheese, and wow, the food is amazing! The collards are perfectly seasoned, the pork is tender and juicy, and the mac and cheese is delicious. The customer service was great too. I’ll definitely be recommending this place to others!

Paid $25 for a brisket plate with mac & cheese and green beans, and it was honestly disappointing.
The brisket was a 7/10 at best — not bad, but nowhere near good enough to justify the price. The mac & cheese was the best thing on the plate, which says a lot. The green beans tasted like they came straight out of a can, completely unseasoned.
Worst part? I was still hungry an hour later. If I’m going to a BBQ/soul food spot, I expect to leave full — borderline food coma. That’s kind of the whole point.
At this price point, the portions and execution just don’t deliver. There’s potential here, but for $25, I expected way more flavor, soul, and value. I can do way better at home.

I just came in from out of town. Uber over to Flames BBQ. They were closed. Even though she was ready to go home. Ms. Dee reopened the restaurant for me. The food was A1 and the cornbread was a 10. I love cornbread. I ate a piece while waiting on my food. Awesome service Ms Dee. Y’all get over to Flames BBQ and eat up that soul food. The Ice Tea sealed the deal!!

I had the rib dinner; unfortunately, the ribs were a little tough. The macaroni and cheese was delicious, but the greens tasted like they could have used another washing. The cornbread tasted like it had cinnamon in it which was weird to me also, I was surprised that they only served sweet tea.
Access to the restroom is restricted. I’d suggest adding a wetnap to the cutlery if you’re not going to make it easy for customers to wash their hands. BBQ is messy.

To be fair, I ordered my food from Uber Eats. I got the rib tips box with fries, a side of potato salad, and a side of bbq beans. Everything was MID at best. I ordered (2) bottles of Pepsi with my order as well, that did not make it with my meal. On to the food… The rib tips could have passed for beef jerky slathered in some sort of bbq sauce that reminded me of something from the Heinz family. The fries were hot and completely unseasoned. The potato salad was very sweet, with what seemed like more relish then mayo, it was very hard to manage to get more then 3 bites down. Unfortunately this isn’t the part of the review where I saved the best for last. The BBQ Beans looked straight from a Bush Beans can, and not the fancier version, the plain ol basic bbq beans with what could only be 3 pounds of brown sugar added to it. The entire meal was a complete disappointment considering the amazing reviews they have online. I hate that this is giving school cafeteria energy.

Visit on December 30th I order the pork chop dinner and ribs and fries. The mac & cheese very dry tasted like leftovers mac&cheese. Greens and pork chop good. The ribs was good the bbq sauce was too sweet no smoke favor in the sauce. I was the only one there and it took 10 to 15 minutes before my order was ready.

Came through today november 15th through the drive through asked directly for a 1/2 rack, long bone. Don’t cut it.
With carolina spicy sauce
When I got the plate, it had been cut up the tips, cut off with some kind of barbecue sauce they have on it. It was not Carolina sauce. It was not spicy. The barbecue was dried out like it was from the day before.
For $20 it was a disappointing half rack of ribs. I could have made it home for half the price.
