The service was awesome and the food was amazing. This establishment is clean and the employees were non-stop cleaning. We were very impressed. We loved how courteous and kind “Trey” was. You could see how much he truly enjoys what he does. The entire staff was great!

Had lunch with my buddy. Later in the week went back for breakfast with my son. Both were outstanding. Got waited on by Amber B both days. She is OUTSTANDING! Smart, attentive and hard working. What I like most about her is she’s a kind, amazing human. I hope management at Five West knows how great an employee they have in her.

I was lucky enough to get the brunch menu on New Year’s Day. I had the Cinnamon French Toast and a side of scrambled eggs. It says there are 2 eggs but they must have been ostrich eggs because it was a TON of eggs. The French toast was really good. Some of the best I’ve had!
The parking lot was very icy and hard to walk and drive on. The sidewalk was nicely salted though. The restaurant was very busy so we were glad to take the opportunity of a reservation. It was kind of dark for my sensitive eyes (it was extremely bright outside so I had trouble seeing inside). Nice big tables!

We had a great experience at Five West in Rochester MN. I ordered the steak tacos with chips and salsa, and everything was flavorful and well prepared. My husband had the bacon and blue cheese burger with sweet potato fries, and he really enjoyed it. The food was fresh and delicious all around. They also have a nice outdoor seating area next to beautiful fountains, which added to the atmosphere, though we chose to sit inside. Overall, it was a great spot for a casual yet quality meal.

Only 2nd time in my life in Rochester, but since I will be back for more work through whenever….I decided to find “my spot”. Well I think I found it. The place is really nice and the food not only looked amazing, but tasted as such. I had the Grilled Chicken Tacos tonight and the Aperol Affair to drink and both were DELICIOUS. Service was absolutely friendly and up to standards. This is only my first time here but they impressed not only my eyes…but my tummy.

Ordered the prime rib (which is advertised on their website for their special on Saturday, Feb 21st) the waitress’ response was “we don’t have prime rib.” When I informed her it’s advised on the website her response was “we hear that a lot but we don’t know why it’s on the website we haven’t had it since last year. The Burria Tacos had no taste, asked for sirloin medium rare which was well done and dry. I was here last year and I was impressed this place took a major dive since..in my opinion.

Booked a private event for my mothers 70th birthday and everything was PERFECT!!! From the moment I spoke with Joe from the private dining management team, I knew we had booked the right place! Joe was exceptionally responsive to all of my questions whether that was by phone or email. He was very helpful and professional in making this the perfect place to host an event! We felt extremely happy with all of the work going into the party and when the day finally came, Joe and his team knocked it out of the park! the food was amazing, the room was elegant and inviting, and the server was EXCEPTIONAL! She took care of nearly 50 people with ease and was attentive to every detail!! I couldn’t recommend Five west enough for your next party or event!

I guess this establishment is part of a chain of restaurants, but it appears to be the only one with this name based on the website. I may be wrong, however it had no effect on my rating (I usually don’t rate chain restaurants). I only learned of this upon further review of the website after dining. Sorry, now to the review. We were seated immediately on a Saturday afternoon for lunch and the place was less than a 1/4 full. We chose to be seated in a booth inside instead of the patio even though it was a beautiful day. Our server was extremely pleasant, friendly and attentive, good service all the way around. Took a recommendation from our server for a local craft beer and tried the “Little thistle” which was a very tasty IPA, a very good recommendation. Started off with the artichoke and spinach dip that was delicious, especially with what appeared to be freshly baked flatbread, a very comforting dish. My dining partner had the maple bourbon burger, it was absolutely delicious (horrible pic, I know). The smoked Gouda cheese was served in a cup, melted. That was a great idea as it was used on the burger with a bit saved to dip the fries in. The fried walleye, first time trying walleye, was absolutely delicious. I would get this over and over again, it was that good. The fries were like everywhere else, however, there was an $3 up charge for the tater tots, a not so wise choice on our part, should have had the fries. Overall we were absolutely delighted with our lunch as the food, service and atmosphere were excellent, a great place to dine. If I were in the area, I definitely would make an effort to return.
