My family has lived in Painesville my who life & i have never been to this little shop until i moved down the street. I had the gyro (small), it was okay, the portion was huge, not the worst I’ve ever had, but definitely not as good as Nick’s Gyros in Mentor. My boyfriend had the Philly Sub & he said it was amazing. I really want to go back & try a few other things that are on their menu, like the corned beef. Otherwise they have a nice drink selection, snacks available & all your smoking needs.

Got one ‘large’ and one ‘super large’ cornbeef sandwich for St. Patty’s Day. They came on rye bread with swiss cheese, horse-raddish and yellow mustard. They were both HUGE and delicious for a decent price. Now I can’t wait to try their other subs and sandwiches. Highly recommended.

The subs are 4 stars. Which isn’t a bad thing. They are good but not amazing. They get an extra star though because the service is great and the place is always clean. Worth the stop if you are looking for a sandwich.

Both my wife and son got foot longs and ended up throwing them both out 1/4 into them. Food quality is poor selection is low. Subway is better, and that is sad. The plus is the staff is friendly so hope for improvement exist.
