We stayed in town for a few days, this is a pizza place we would order from again and again! It’s was so good, very well done and one of the best pizza sauces we’ve ever tried! If you’re coming around this area, we would highly recommend you to try these pizzas!

After getting frustrated walking around St Augustine and finding no good late night food choices, I remembered seeing an ad for Five Star pizza in the Trolley Saver coupon book. I called to place a late night deliver order, and although they didn’t have the special that was advertised, the girl on the phone mentioned one they did have that suited my needs. I ordered my pizza well done and with plates and some how my order still arrived within 25 minutes!!! My pizza and garlic knots were piping hot, and my 2 liter of Dr. P was cold. Rosemary was my driver and she was super sweet!!! Don’t forget to sign up for rewards program for extra savings. Until next year Five Star!!

So, I was blown away at our last delivery and driver. Delivery was to The Southerly at the Shipyard this past Wednesday 02/11/2026. What integrity and honest. I tipped and my hand writing sucks. Driver call and asked about it. He said what he thought is was and that it was more than 20% He adjusted the tip. My wife and I were deeply moved. I pray the Lord blesses this person abundantly. What an inspiring moment in time when the world seems far to crazy.

Five Star Pizza fed a BUS FULL of 4th graders on a field trip with EXCELENT SERVICE and delicious food. They ensured the pizza’s were as FRESH as possible when they delivered it to us after a long day of touring St. Augustine and the kids all loved the brownies at the end too!
Five Star Pizza left us with everything we needed including napkins, plates and even GLOVES to serve the food sanitarily to the children.

We had a flyer in the mail for a free large pizza and the reviews have been fantastic. We opted for the family special once I created a pizza profile. A large
2-topping, garlic bread, and a 2-Liter soda!!!
My husband made it home just in time to get the pizza hot and fresh!!! He made me look forward to my first bite as he enthusiastically said, “We can order from this place anytime!
This is some of the best pizza that I’ve had in a while!”. I definitely do agree!!! The cheese pull was perfect!! | loved the spice level in the pepperoni.!! And it was thin slices so they crisped up magnificently!!! The crust was the quality!!! Cooked well and the texture was wonderfu!!!! Not burnt or gooey… I am very picky. I was impressed! Their garlic bread (made daily) was generously swimming in their secret recipe garlic butter! Yummm!
Then, the hot wings that we added to our dinner were cooked well-done as we ordered. Yay!!! This all washed down perfectly with our cold bottle of Pepsi!!! Yay!!
And they added a sheet of coupons on our pizza box that lead us to a QR code that gave us yet ANOTHER coupon!!! Talk about a win win!!! As a veteran pizza maker (@2 years at Pizza Hut)… I am proud to support the masterpieces coming from this venue! And shoutout to exceptional speedy delivery time and the professionalism of the delivery person!!! He was very presentable and personable! God bless!

This place used to be great but they must have changed management and it is now a rip-off. Paid $20 for a plain cheese thin crust pizza ($19.61 and don’t forget to tip on carry out as they remind you) That included an up charge for the privilege of getting thin crust.
Thin crust dudes (you, the people who run the place) is not thin pizza. It is the dough. But this garbagy flatbread is like a dense thin crust (think yuk not light) and the sauce and the whole thing: crust, sauce and cheese together don’t even make a full slice the thickness of two quarters. That’s what I’m showing you in the picture. Look at the picture and weep. When they handed me the box it felt empty.
Seriously I’ve ordered a thin crust forever but now it feels like they just stick a tablespoon of sauce and a tablespoon of cheese on and spread it as thin as they can with a butter knife.
On top of it all it leaves a really bad oily aftertaste.
Nothing like Five Star here in Mandarin used to be just 2-3 months ago. Whoever got the place is just stingy as the Scrooge with all the ingredients. They ruined a great pizzeria and now not fit to even give my dog a stomach ache with this sorry excuse. Amazing they can’t even get the dough to rise properly so it is bubbly and light, no enjoyment at all! Yuk! Eww! Jacks $3.50 pizza is about the same at Walmart. Embarrassing as can be!!!

Man I was so impressed with this place, it’s a totally rad vibe. They were open christmas day and it was busy as hell, it’s all of these guys just busting their asses and cranking metal. The building looks like it would be some kind of shady tax accountant or something but it doesn’t matter. Oh, also the pizza is very good too! I got the meatball. I love this business. I can tell they really care about what they are doing.
