It was one of the most unexpected restaurant experiences I’ve ever had.
Quaint little area, reminiscent of an old industrial ghost town. The restaurant does not stand out from the surrounding buildings very much, and if you didn’t find it via maps, or if you blink when you go through the intersection, you would never know it’s there.
When I walked through the door, it was a bit shocking, as the interior is massive compared to the appearance of the exterior, and the interior design and craftsmanship are very well executed throughout .
The food was incredibly delicious, I had a bacon, egg, cheese, and potato burrito, dry (not smothered).
I believe they skillet fried the potatoes, eggs and bacon together, in perfect proportions I might add, wrapped it up, cheddar on top, threw it back it the pan for as much, or little, melty goodness you want with each bite, EXCELLENT!
My buddy got the biscuits and gravy and a stack of French toast, he said everything was great, and coming from him, that means a lot, even more astounding, after we had finished eating, he stated, “That’s probably the best French toast I’ve ever had.” I’ve never heard such high compliments from him about anyone’s cooking except his own.
The meals are huge, neither one of us was able to finish, but our appetites were MORE THAN SATISFIED! The prices are ridiculously inexpensive, we visited this BEAUTIFUL establishment, got EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE and really, honestly, ENJOYED a meal for less than we pay on a daily to most of the available fast food stops and didn’t spend any significant amount more time than we do… on the daily.
To wrap it up, this place has it all and in the BEST ways.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!! Tastes better than country cookin’, , didn’t know it could!
Thank you, 5 STAR and staff, I will be returning often, and I can’t wait for my wife to experience
I’m a web designer and had a quick question
about who I could contact regarding your website.
Thank you!
The incident began when our waitress, with a noticeable disdain, questioned the presence of my service dog, a small Shih Tzu (2-pounds), in a tone that was both rude and dismissive. Despite explaining that my service dog, essential for my PTSD due to my military service, had never been an issue before when our family would go there. I offered to show my service dog’s credentials and that was dismissed. The waitress insisted on enforcing a rule that the dog must remain on the floor. This was contrary to our previous experiences at the same establishment.
The situation escalated when the manager, or a staff member posing as one, approached us as an unnecessary backup, reiterating the same unfounded rule. Their attempt to lecture us on service animal laws was both condescending and incorrect. According to Colorado State law, while restaurants can require service animals to stay off the furniture, there is no mandate that they must be on the floor, and I was holding her on my lap. The staff’s lack of understanding and empathy was glaringly evident.
Adding to the distress, our son-in-law, who is Hispanic, was subjected to a hostile glare from the waitress, suggesting a possible racial bias. This unwelcoming attitude not only ruined our dining experience but also deeply upset our grandchildren, with our granddaughter reduced to tears.
To add insult to injury, they told us we would have to leave, and we were told we had to pay for the food, despite it not being started or prepared yet. This demand was unreasonable and further exacerbated the demeaning behavior.
In conclusion, this restaurant’s blatant disregard for customer comfort, combined with their unprofessional and possibly discriminatory behavior, makes it a place I cannot recommend. If you choose to dine here, be aware of the kind of service you might encounter.
