Really enjoyed my time at Five Oceans! The food was very good — fresh and tasty. The place itself is super nice, with a great atmosphere and an amazing view over the water. Perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal. The staff were all really friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. I’ll definitely come back again, especially for the view and the chill vibe.

This restaurant deserve 5 stars in everything!! The fish and the vegetables were so fresh and abundant, greatly cooked. It was really value for money and the service was fantastic. We were a group of almost 30 people and the service was quick, kind, all my colleagues were so happy about the evening! A big thank you to Diamantina and her staff!

I read some good reviews about this restaurant’s food. I love seafood so I thought this would be a great place to experience fresh, flavor packed seafood.

I was deeply disappointed. Overall, there was just nothing special about any aspect of this dinning experience.

The food tasted like every other basic seafood spot in the city. Absolutely nothing spectacular. The food was under seasoned and relied on butter to do the heavy lifting. Everyone in my party had to add salt and pepper to their meals which only marginally improved the flavors.

I paid a total of 156€ for four meals: 2x tiger prawns and rice, bread basket, half bottle of wine, she crab soup, salad, and prawn curry.

I went on a sunset cruise and was looking for something that would be both convenient and delicious. My sunset cruise was by Ponte 25 Abril (the red bridge). Our skipper rec. 5 Oceans… and it did not disappoint. First, I am GF and they brought out GF bread which was perfect for the amazing local warm sheep cheese. I enjoyed a very generous pour of a local red and then was served a Portuguese version of cioppino soup which was honestly enough for two people. The broth was delicious and warming. The total was $43 or a little over €30. The service was fantastic and it was the perfect ending to my day!

We were here with a large group and the food and service was excellent. We ordered many dishes and all were very good. Also our waiter was very friendly and made our evening extra. I specifically enjoyed the monk fish, shrimp with rice entree and the large prawns.

Highly recommend this elegant yet lively seafood restaurant located right by the river and entertainment pier area overlooking the large suspension bridge. Very fresh and tasty seafood dishes, cooked well and delicious. Very friendly and accommodating waiters. Proper dining table setting ideal for formal events but enjoyable setting for fun meals with friends and family. All dishes ordered were enjoyed by our the entire group.

I guess we were unlucky but I got sick for 2 days from eating the octopus… it was very oily and it had not taste… I guess it was not fresh since the seas was closed since several days due to the storm. The service however was really good !! And the view very cute.

I will give you an objective review:
Yes, the food takes a bit to come out but it is FRESH.
The service is sincere, not 5 star, but completely sincere and filled with love.

The food is great; just not highly seasoned. I felt compelled to ask for salt and pepper.

The wine list is EXCELLENT and very economical.

I recommend the mushrooms and asparagus starter (I’m a nutrition geek). I also recommend the fresh squid- it comes with either spinach and potatoes or broccoli and potatoes. It’s a very good and well balanced dish.

The menu is vast and the price is range from about €10 up to about €40. Extremely economical! The wine menu is also vast and again, it is extremely economical compared to the US.

This restaurant is located right on the pier. It’s a beautiful view of the water and the doc boats. It has both inside and outside ceiling. This was a great experience! I highly recommend!

The food was really good..very hot and fresh.
The ambience was also nice.
Service was good.
HOWEVER…Beware that the restaurant charges for items like starter bread and meats that is provided before you order;

Also, after dinner you may feel ambushed when asked whether you wish to tip for service…
I suggest the restaurant stop such practice!

Prepare some cash to give waiter instead of having it added to bill!

The food was generally good, although the seafood risotto and mussels contained some sand, which affected the experience. At the beginning of the meal, the waiter brought bread and jamón without us ordering it; we declined the jamón. There was a wait of over 30 minutes for the main course. The restaurant clearly caters to tourists, which is understandable, but the noise level was quite high and made it difficult to enjoy the atmosphere.
