What a gem. All of their ingredients are locally sourced and you can taste the love they put in every bite. Their coffee is next level too. They are must try and Lafayette is lucky to have such an amazing spot.

Loved the caprese toast & cappuccino! Everything delicious & beautiful. They make it with love. Even their bathroom has a soothing waterfall noise. Everything is beautiful about this restaurant. The price is worth it for the quality you get. Outstanding! Cant wait to return when in this area for work.
I returned. Tried the breakfast sandwich. Again impressed. The focacia bread was wonderful. I liked the toast more tho. The sandwich was quite messy to eat in my car. Also got the pistachio cappuccino & as always amazing!
Please open a 2nd location in BR!

This place is great! It was super busy when we got there, so kinda hard to find a place to eat, but the vibes were still cute inside. The tira-miso latte was so delicious, and the sandwich was pretty good. I will be returning soon for another one of those lattes.

I was visiting from Tennessee and found Five Mile Eatery when searching for something healthy and organic. Five Mile was fantastic. Everything was fresh and made with the highest quality ingredients. I personally had the Nutty by Nature espresso drink, Muffaletta, Soup du jour, and kale/pork/egg grits. I was blown away by the flavors and quality. The atmosphere was also very comfortable and inviting. My friend and I had plenty of time to catch up and enjoy each other’s company. I’m very pleased with Five Mile and would look forward to returning any time!

Such a little gem tucked away from fast paced Lafayette! The food was exceptional, the atmosphere was cozy, and the staff was super friendly and welcoming. I love that it’s women owned and uses organic, recycled materials throughout the venue.

Wonderful meal and vibe. Happy to see Yaupon tea on the menu. The burger was delicious and the salad was amazing. You can taste the quality and care in every bite. Highly recommend and look forward to coming back soon. The bathrooms were very clean.

Best burger in town at the moment. Always friendly service. I expected hipster snobbery as the vibe. But it’s not like that at all. I’ve seen all age ranges and manner of dress. I’ve never seen any rudeness. And somehow it feels warm and engaging. I’m not an interior decorator, so I don’t know how that kind of magic happens. And BEST burger in town at the moment.

Every time I’m in Lafayette, I hit Five Mile probably every other day for breakfast or lunch. That comes out to dozens of orders, and I’ve never had a bad experience. The food is always fresh and flavorful, and I like that it doesn’t feel heavy — a much-needed alternative to other breakfast spots in town. The menu is a good size and balances very-healthy options with biscuits, waffles, and pastries made with better ingredients. I also love that the coffee is organic. It’s a small space, but I’ve always had luck finding a table with other people getting up. Likewise, parking spots are limited but do open up — you might just have to circle the block. I’m glad Lafayette has this spot!

Excellence in every aspect! There’s warmth in this women-owned welcoming restaurant. I’ve enjoyed their Gluten Free options immensely, the fact that their food is grown locally, the freshness, the emphasis on healthy foods that make you feel good while eating them, and long afterwards. Their staff is super friendly as their atmosphere is inviting. Five-Mile is definitely a peaceful oasis in the very middle of a busy center of town.
