Was looking for dinner place to spend our last night at. Read reviews and decided on “Five Loaves Cafe.” The place is quaint, with a “homey” appeal. Once inside, was greeted warmly by the hostess – who in turn sat us at a great place in the restaurant to enjoy the ambiance. We were greeted promptly by our server Ashley who was cheerful and friendly! Since this was our first time at the establishment, she told us about the dishes on the menu that were popular, then gave us time to decide what we wanted to order to eat and drink. We started off with the drinks. We ordered the “Blueberry Lemon Drop” and the “Prickly Pear Margarita” which were quite tasty! Then the appetizer was the “Goat Cheese Gnocch” for and appetizer (which was to die for), then the Entrees – we ordered were the Braised Short Rib in a Red Wine reduction – over mashed potatoes with Asparagus! So good! and the “Shrimp Gnocchi, which was rich and flavorful! They also served us “homemade “Focciaca ” bread with seasoned Olive Oil. For dessert, we ordered the “New York” style cheesecake with Raspberry glaze and the “Coconut Cream Cake.” All of the dishes were outstanding! Our server Ashley made our evening by being warm and friendly – she made the night a memorable experience! If you are looking for a great place to have fantastic food, great service and atmosphere, look no further than Five Loaves Cafe! You won’t be disappointed!

Our server, Kaitlyn H, was so friendly and fun to talk to. I got the skillet brunch skillet made by chef Rhett Berry and it was AMAZING!!! My friends all loved their food as well so 10/10 would recommend.

Delicious meal. Chicken parmigiana was absolutely devine. Breaded chicken breast with fresh pasta. Chicken meatballs were amazing. Caesar salad was perfect. Tortellini was a nice touch. Homemade potato soup was great. Enjoyed the honeyberry sweet tea was refreshing. Not a fan of the corn bread. It had a bit of a barnyard flavor. Nonetheless, this place is a gem.

My family and I have been here several times, and it’s always good when we eat in. But whenever we order takeout (pickup or delivery), the food is significantly worse quality than dine-in. Expensive for minuscule portions. If you’re gonna eat here, definitely sit down and dine in.

We loved our time here! The service was fantastic. The hostess and our waitress were amazing, speedy, and efficient! And the food was fantastic with large portions. I especially loved the broccoli cheddar potato soup . Thank you for labeling the gluten free and vegetarian options!! It fills up fast, many people are trying to eat here.

I had my birthday brunch at this location today. From the moment I began inquiring about availability I was treated with kindness and respect. Upon arrival, manager and staff made all of the necessary accommodations to create a truly beautiful space for my 15 guests. The food was amazing as always. I brought in cake, but because of the rain it was damaged on one side. But they repaired it before bringing it out. You can’t fake good customer service. The management and staff
at Five Loaves are exceptional in every area of customer service. I highly recommend their location.

I will never go to this restaurant again. Ordered the breakfast skillet and a side of Biscuits and gravy. As you can see in the picture, the portions are extremely small. I was supposed to get chorizo is my bowl and never received it. I told the server who I was impossible to find. She then didn’t believe me even when I showered her the bowl.

My husband and I frequent the Five Loaves in Summerville and it never disappoints. Tonight, he chose five loaves for his birthday dinner. He always gets the chef’s special and loves it every time. I always get the tricolor tortellini with blacked chicken or a sandwich with soup. The leak bisque was amazing. We are so thankful to have a restaurant so close that serves food that tastes like home. Emily was our serve tonight and has been in the past. Her service and the staff in general are always attentive and kind. They are a generous local organization that I am proud to have around as someone who was born and raised here.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5-Star Experience at Five Loaves Cafe!
We stopped in for lunch and had another great experience!
I tried the kale salad with berries—very tasty and fresh. Big thanks to the staff for the referral!
I also had the roast beef in a spinach wrap, and it hit the spot.
My wife stuck with her favorites: the roast beast sandwich and the Mexican chicken chili soup—she gets them every time, so you know they’re consistently good!
⭐ Service is always excellent—friendly, quick, and on point.
❄️ One tip for my fellow cold-natured folks: bring a coat! It stays a little chilly inside, especially for us seasoned diners.
Great food + great people = always worth the visit!
