Attention couriers: stay away from this restaurant for pickups. This place set a new record for wait time, I waited an entire hour. Every 10 minutes, the staff kept asking me for the customer’s name over and over, making me think the order was being prepared. After an hour, they told me the order wasn’t even in their system and that I should cancel it. No one apologized for wasting a whole hour of my time. I lost time and the chance to earn from deliveries at other restaurants.

The food is always great here, and I usually enjoy getting a shake. However, at this location my shake didn’t come with whipped cream, my burger wasn’t wrapped properly, and the staff seemed annoyed. On top of that, the dining area was very messy with not a single clean table available.

There’s been times I went here and I have had no problem, but as of recently last time I went, my burgers weren’t even completely done. I don’t know if corporate stresses them out about speed, efficiency, and keeping the line moving, but I would enjoy it if they would lay off so that the people could take the time to cook the food properly because I got sick just because this was still raw in the middle. If I would’ve Ate it while there I would’ve noticed before I left. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case and I noticed when I got all the way home. And I had to continue cooking the patties myself on the stove and if that was truly my intention for the night, I would’ve gotten patties from the store. .

Worst experience with this restaurant, I work in delivery. I accepted a double order, meaning two orders for different customers. Orders are processed slowly for everyone. The first order was handed to me after 30 minutes of waiting, and I had to wait another 30 minutes for the second one. In total, I spent almost an hour waiting at this restaurant. While waiting for the second order, the first one got cold, and the customer received it that way. Because of that, I got a negative rating from the customer, since I couldn’t leave the restaurant without picking up all the orders for my route, whereas most other restaurants hand out orders immediately or within 5–10 minutes at most. Other customers and couriers were also waiting for their orders for about 30 minutes.
To make matters worse, my car got stained by a greasy bag because the staff put the fries directly into a thin paper bag along with the rest of the food, while other restaurants use an additional paper cup for fries. I do not recommend this restaurant! Be careful.

Always a good burger, but when you hand cut your own potatoes to make french fries you must follow the process very carefully. When Five Guys does it perfectly they make the best french fries around. Lately the fries have been perfect. I’m changing my review back to five stars

The food was amazing. But this Mexican dude was taking my order and I couldn’t hear him at all. While I was waiting I kept hearing him say racist language that made me feel upset, and while I was leaving the restaurant I saw him in a red truck doing inappropriate things to a young lady. It might have been his sister i don’t know but she was definitely under age.

Very friendly service and tasty food! My wife and I came here for dinner and had initially ordered a milkshake with our food. After eating, we both wanted a fountain drink too so I went back to the counter to pay real quick for a large drink, but they let us have it for free and said it’s on them! Very kind of them!

We stopped at Five Guys in Portland on our way back to Washington and had such a welcoming, positive first-time experience. The food was great, but what really stood out was the customer service. A big thank you to the manager, Kayla, for making us feel so welcome and taken care of—it really made our visit special!

Not sure why the negative reviews — all the workers were respectful – thanking everyone for coming in – they say Sir and Ma’am – food was cooked perfectly and promptly to order – only slight negative there is some round rust stain on part of the floor that takes away from the other wise super clean environment – very pleased with my visit – highly recommended !

Ordered two shakes. One chocolate with salted caramel the other was vanilla with Oreo. Revived two plain vanilla shakes. Also half melted… yikes. PDX fast food places are getting bad/lazy very quickly.
