This is the best hamburger joint you’ll find outside of a steak house. This one in particular is clean, the burgers are made exactly how you order and Five Guys standards dictate, and the condiments, beverage machine and milkshake machine are cleaned all day long. In addition, the restrooms, used by men and women, are spotless and shiny. The kitchen looked great and the manager knew the to-go order by name and gave us a short rundown on what needed to happen and how long we’d wait. Until In N Out gets here, this is the best chain in Portland, even with Burgerville here. All fresh meat, real peanut oil on the fries and a stunning list of toppings. If it weren’t for the price, I’d eat here all the time for the grilled mushrooms and onions. I’d live to see an Impossible or myco protein version of one of their staple burgers someday, then it would be worth the price every time.

Shoutout to James! It was a busy night and not all customers were exceeding in patience, but my friend and I watched James exercise so much grace, joy and patience as we waited for our food. He graciously and calmly solved many issues presented to him and we were blown away by his character. Give him a raise!

This was very disappointing. We eat at 5 guys individually all the time so today we decided to order for our meeting. $250+ order that was very messy. We had 12 people with burgers and fries. And nothing was marked correctly. Only 8 burgers had numbers, all of the fries were mixed together, some burgers were missing patties, one had cheese that wasn’t ordered, some had extra patties. We would have loved to be returning customers as a business but probably not after this.

I’ve never been so underwhelmed and disappointed… I’m not sure if they’ve switched ownership or if staff is just not up to par but the past 2 times I’ve been in for a burger it has been half-a**ed. staff looks unhappy and was rude, my buns were grilled for only about a millisecond making the finished product a soggy condiment mess, and my burger was bland and unseasoned. The burger was such a disaster at the end that neither me or my friend could eat the, frankly, wet burger. I’m so dissatisfied and disappointed I chose to spend my money there… Five Guys used to be my favorite burger place around, I used to consider then #1…now I will not be back.

Had a great exp. today! I received exactly what I ordered and it was hot and very good in a timely manor! This is the second time I have stopped by in a short time. I like the fact that I wanted to come here and have a good hamburger! At this point top onf the burger places for me!

I normally only do to-go orders here for work. For the most part they’re consistent with getting the orders right and out on time. Service is quick and easy for pick up orders, which is great for those shorter lunch breaks.
