It has been open for a little while now but I probably picked the busiest time to try it, Sunday lunch. The line took 15 minutes and the good took 30 more. They warned us and I accepted so that was my choice so I’m not complaining. It will probably get better with time.
I had a “small” bacon burger (which means one patty) and a regular fries. The toppings for the burger are almost all included in the price so it was nice to add mushrooms and not pay more. The fries were very good. I’ve heard they are locally sources and fried in peanut oil. The fries were overflowing and the small burger was plenty big enough for me.
People complain about the price but it’s a sit down restaurant quality burger in a fast food setting so it’s not bad. Plus, free peanuts! I will be back.
BTW, the add-ons to the milkshakes are all included, including bacon! I’ll have to try that next time.
My only complaint is the shortage of restrooms. One men’s and one ladies room is not really sufficient.
Actually, one more: it would be helpful to have a “Serving # _ _” sign instead of telling it out in a noisy restaurant.

We had the worst experience at five guys tonight. We’ve been on multiple occasions to the new Coeur d’Alene location and this is the only time we’ve had a large issue. We ordered our food online at 5:51, got to the location at 6:00 when we let them know we were present which is when the receipt was time stamped and printed. We did not receive our food until 6:50, and then when we got. the order it was wrong and they had to remake it. Thankfully our 2 year old and 2 months old handled the situation like champs. We watched multiple families who ordered in the store get their food before us. None of the managers present cared to remedy the situation (doesn’t help to offer a free drink when we already ordered one). Safe to say we will not be returning and sharing with others what our experience has been.

Went here the other day the it was rlly good I liked the burger the fries were eh but the milkshake was great! Definitely pricey I would say. We got two cheeseburgers, one regular fry and one little fry, a milkshake and a regular soda, and it was $39.33 including tax for two people I would come again tho!

OMG I haven’t had a burger this good since I left Calie 7 yrs ago, granted theirs good burgers in Coeur d’Alene I personally like Parallel 47 smash burger! but this reminded of times past, being fresh and made to order I’m Super Happy they came to Coeur d’Alene!!!!!

The taste of the food was good, so I gave it an extra star. A few issues with how it was prepared:
1. The toppings were left on the bun too long while the burger was cooking, making the bun soggy and it fell apart as soon as I picked it up… At least there were forks available. This is a big peeve of mine.
2. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger, there was no bacon. Bacon is the most important thing- how can you forget bacon?
3. The burger was placed in the bottom of a skinny paper bag, making hard to get it out from under the huge pile of fries. I know overflowing fries is 5 Guy’s thing, but I really don’t need that much. This probably contributed to it falling apart because I had to yank it out from around the fries. I could take the fries out, sure, but then I have to set them on the table and who knows if it’s been cleaned recently.
4. Finally, of course- as always- the machine asks you for a tip at the register before you even get your food and decide whether you’re happy with it or not. Tipping nonsense is way out of hand in America! Just pay your employees a decent wage!

Was the very first order in at this Five Guys location, and must say it met and exceeded all my expectations! Not only was the food fresh & amazing, but so was the kitchen staff, the front counter order taker, and the general manager & staff were all very friendly & absolutely amazing! A well deserved 5 star review all around.

One of the Best Burgers in town. Consistently fresh and cooked right. Fries are exceptional. We’ve visited their stores at several locations and by far this is one of the better locations.

I have been driving past for weeks. I’ve heard of the franchise, read up on it. Finely I stopped by. I walked in, let them know I was a new customer. Was given the 20 cent tour ( Complete run down on options, ECT.) I ordered the Cheese burger which comes w/2 patties. Add ons I added, Pickles. Grilled Onions. Mayo. Small fry and get this, they have a Bacon shake ! I got the peanut butter & Bacon shake combo.Talk about a burger ! OUTSTANDING ! Cooked to perfection. Moist and tons of flavor in every bite. The small fries was perfect. The shake, AWESOME ! I have just found my favorite burger restaurant. The service was fast. Officiant. The staff knowledgeable about the product and great attitudes. Upbeat. !
I give them 5 stars !
