Ordered a hotdog online so I won’t have to wait. I get there and it’s not ready!! Finally got my order and left to work. When I sit down to eat my dog it only has the toppings without the weenie!! I decided to try Five Guys for the very first time. The atmosphere was bleak as the restaurant was empty and eerily quiet. This nice lady came out to take my order and quickly began to prepare it. When I got home I was eager to eat my bacon cheeseburger. The burger almost fell out of the bag as the bottom had a whole in it due to being soaked with grease. The burger itself was soggy and actually difficult to eat. If it had bacon, I didn’t taste it. It was a lousy experience and expensive. Go to Whataburger, Sonic or even Burger King for a good bacon cheeseburger at a reasonable price.

$38 and some change for 2 burgers, 2 fries, and 2 medium Sodas. What the hell? The fries were mushy and very oily. The burgers were ok but rather small. And the wife threw up fries last night. We won’t be back. The service was good and friendly. But they need to provide better product for these prices. Alot better.

Decided to take my lady here because she has never been. There were 5 employees behind the counter. The girl that took our order was very helpful. but that’s about as good as it was going to get. as we were waiting for our food, we couldn’t help but to notice how dirty the place was.. tabes had leftover pieces of food on them an used cup. The floor had 3 wet signs but the floor was still dirty and it didn’t rain, sooo.. the trash can was full and the one next to the ketchup dispenser was overflowing.. the store is pretty much empty of customers.
And it seemed like the employees are just laughing and joking behind the counter…we got our food.the hamburgers were good. The milkshake was great. The french fries would have been good too.However they were too salty. So I told the girl behind the counter and asked if we could get some with less salt. She told me ok. Then one of the guys walked up said “I’m the manager what’s the problem” I told him. Then he had attitude told me “that’s how they come next time ask for less salt” .ok then ..soo I waited for the new fries. And of course when we got them there were just as salty as the other order. Needless to say, had to throw away both orders, so that’s $8 for nothing… Everything came out to $40. Definitely not worth the experience especially considering the price..

Idk about this place yet. I’ve been to the one in Corpus and it was good. But not the best. And now that they got 1 in portland tx. “I mean is there really a reason why we have more burger joints than we need”? I’m probably not ever going to that “trash can” in portland or ever! Whataburger is good enough for me… shoot if you want a really good burger with a decent price go to “Tha Concession Stand” in lil ole Gregory,Tx. 78459 Burgers and other stuff on menu are GREAT!!!

Burgers are a little small and very much overpriced, but they were very delicious, and I really liked the seasoned fries. The soda machine allows you to customize your drinks, but my Dr. Pepper Cherry Vanilla was a little flat when I tried it.

We were two disabled women and we talked about the BOGO coupon and we took our order and charged us for both burgers knowing we thought we were getting one free and we’re both on a fixed income and not expecting to pay for two burgers my friend asked several times if they had to be the same burger for the bogo deal and she said no so we got the same bacon cheeseburger which is not cheap and my elderly friend went to to the counter and asked why we were charged for both and she said that was for online orders only which would’ve been nice to know when we were ordering and asking about the bogo deal the burgers were mediocre and the fries were salt less and soggy the lady didn’t offer to accommodate us in anyway and told us we could order online the next time and get the deal but after our experience we won’t be returning we were just treated with disrespect we got there early and they said they couldn’t take our order but then took the next guy who walked in order before ours
