Hello, me and my wife have been going to this location couple times a month since it first opened. My wife is now 6 months pregnant and it’s her favorite food; We go 2-3 times a week now. Over the last 2 ish months the fries have been kind of hit or miss. Not cooked quite long enough(still great portions). They need probably another 2-3minutes. Almost slimy with grease and only a dozen or so fries out of a large are crispy at all. Don’t get me wrong, I love greasy fries but these just aren’t hitting the high 5 guys standard. Even the burger tonight isn’t quite cooked to the level 5 Guys normally cooked, more medium rare vs well done but didn’t get a great picture.

Cashier guy Conner was super optimistic. Announcing the orders to the cooks with pride! Super friendly. The cooks were laughing. Having a great time working. Thats the best part. No matter what youre doing I life, enjoy the moments !

Overall my only complaint has very been that’s expensive to get food here for other available options. The service was great dining in the staff seemed very helpful not a very long wait for your food. Dining in you have plent of seats and space to dine in or leave for takeout. The food was pretty good as far as taste and as this place is know for they pack your bag full of fries to make it feel you get your money’s worth. Plenty of drink options so finding the drink you want is easy with their touch screen drink machine. The have bathrooms if you need to use them. They have different sauces and stuff for condiments. Plenty of parking everytime you come here being that they share a parking spot with other businesses.

Let me start with Jack. Such an amazing guy and I really enjoyed his input. Fun that he provided humor when we went to order our food. A nice guy, and so pleasant. The food was awesome. Nice environment and I was so impressed with my food. I love the free toppings as well!

Went here right before closing at 9:45
I ordered and my interaction with the cashier was typical. She didn’t seem friendly or cheerful nor rude. I ordered my food to-go as they were closing soon. I didn’t get drinks because I figured I have drinks at home. My food seemed to take forever as the fry cook had to ring up another customer and the cashier was now cooking and the burger cook disappeared. My burgers were set by the fry area. The fry guy saw my burgers and dropped fries into cook. I had been waiting 7 minutes maybe at this point. When the cook realized my food was going to be a while he walked over and said, I’m sorry but it’s going to be a bit on fresh fries, here are some drinks on us for the delay. Then when our food was ready he said I gave you large fries because of the wait.
I was getting frustrated because I saw the girl set my burgers and walk away and thought , why is my food sitting in a bag?
This fry cook too a 2 out of 10 experience and made it a 9.
The only thing that could make the experience better is if the cashier would have greeted us friendly. Maybe I had a grumpy demeanor because I was starving. Idk, but not my job to be friendly and I understand she might have had a long day…

The burgers are good and nice options to customize. The fries have decent flavor but you have to take them home and put them in the oven if you want them to be at all crispy.

Decent nothing special. Nothing to justify 20$ for one meal no drink. I came in today and ordered a triple cheeseburger. A water cup and a small fry.It ended up being 19.39. Not only was I thinking, this is absolutely ridiculously priced. But then I started thinking about the people that worked here at 15 or $16 an hour. They can’t even afford it to get a meal here with one whole hour of their time. What a sad world we live in when you consider the profit percentage.
People should literally refuse to come to places that price their food like this It’s sad that people actually pay it. I’m sure most of them are not even close to affording it

I tried this place again. Wasn’t busy at all. So here is my update review.
Not many people here so the food was faster then expected.
Had the regular cheese burger.
Spouse had little cheese burger.
Little bag of grease bag of fries.
The burger was sloppy but decent!

New place in Independence. Second time ever eating at 5 Guys. First time off state line. Both was the same. 40 minutes later, I get a burger that wasn’t that great and a bag of grease. $16 for one person. I would say it’s not worth it. I doubt I’ll ever go back. There’s better places to go.
