Overall this place was okay. The burger was really good. I did sort of dislike that they have a pan sitting out of precooked bacon that’s cold and clearly been sitting there a while. Just for charging $13 for a burger, it really seems like everything should be hot and as fresh as possible. Also the fries are cut there is great, but I did notice that the ones I received in my order had been sitting for a while and weren’t very fresh.

I have gone to this five guys regularly since it opened and have seen it slowly get worse and worse. 2 weeks ago we went in and they have definitely cut back on the fries they give you, there was large cups but no extra in the bag… Now! They have changed from large cups to alot smaller bag and there is no extra fries put in the bag at all. So disappointed. If I spend $50 on 2 meals…I expect the usual five guys…large fries and extra fries in there. We will be driving to woodhaven from now on.

70 bucks for four people, ouch. I will say it is a darn fine sandwich. Upsizing fries is the biggest expense. But that added 3.49 to the order. Combo is the best way to go. We usually have some peanuts while we wait.

Gave me immediate diarrhea. The fries are prepared at too low a temperature and are limp and tasteless. The burger was pure grease. I prefer Roy’s in Milan for the style of junk food this pretends to be. One and done! Unfortunate that a Texas Roadhouse doesn’t open in Monroe. Less costly, premium food and more cost effective in a community that’s cost sensitive.

The Monroe location is by far the worst location for Five Guys. I LOVE a good FG burger so I drive the 20mins just to go to the Woodhaven location over the 5mins to get to the Monroe location. It tastes like it’s been cooked on a dirty grill and it was dry and lacked flavor and that was my experience with trying it multiple times. Disappointing.

Absolutely one of the best places to grab a burger. It doesn’t matter what location you go to. The staff is always nice and the food is always good. Unlike other chain restaurants where the quality of staff and food can vary by location, Five Guys is the same great food and service at every location. I should know I have eaten at several of them. The stores are filled with newspaper articles and reviews of them all over the walls and in the bathrooms highlighting the different communities they are in. I remember going to one in Indiana and seeing an article about the Livonia, MI location and it brought tears to my eyes because I was missing home at the time but it also brought a smile to my face that a company highlights several of its locations at each location. Truly one of the best restaurants around.

Foods pretty good. Of course it’s fresh. Staff is pretty helpful and very nice. Restaurant is clean. Food is very pricey for what ya get. If you just want burger and fries… then this may not be the most affordable option. But if you like five guys specifically…. then this is a pretty good location.

The employees at this location are great! I was recently diagnosed with Celiac Disease and I was nervous about ordering food and asking questions for the first time. The people there were very understanding and accommodating! It made me feel so much more at ease!

DISAPPOINTED. Burger was small and the bun was hard. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the fries are decent. $38 for two burgers, 2 medium pops and a fry. Ridiculous.
Do your self a favor and go across the street and get Culver’s. Fresher bun, same quality ingredients, AND A LOT CHEAPER!
I won’t be back to Five Guys.
