December 12 – Very unpleasant experience.
Tonight we had a very disappointing experience at Five Guys Powell. The fries had a bad taste, which I had already informed the staff about earlier. I returned them and politely asked for a replacement.
After finishing my hamburger, I had to go back and ask about the fries because they were never brought to my table. The female employee working the night shift (around 8:00 pm) questioned me repeatedly before giving me the fries I had already paid for.
The fries were not ready on time, no apology was offered, and instead of providing good customer service, she kept questioning what had happened with the fries—despite the issue having already been explained.
Overall, the service was poor and unprofessional. This was not the experience I expect from Five Guys

I had the pleasure of visiting the newly opened Five Guys and let me just say — they did not disappoint! From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming, friendly, and clearly excited to be part of the opening crew. The restaurant was spotless and the energy was upbeat.
The food? Absolutely incredible. My burger was cooked to perfection, juicy and flavorful with all the fresh toppings I love. The fries were hot, crispy, and seasoned just right — and you already know they gave a generous portion. Everything tasted fresh and made-to-order, just like Five Guys is known for.
It’s always a great sign when a new location opens strong, and this one definitely sets the bar high. I’ll definitely be back (probably too often!). Highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the area.

This Five Guys needs to step it up. French fries were so salty we threw them away. Burgers were not as good as other Five Guys. Cooks stood around talking and the food took way longer than needed. Hope they can turn things around quickly. We will give them another chance but they need to improve.

The manager is very rude to there employees. He’s yelling at them. It was really uncomfortable eating there. I ended up just walking out. Never coming back.
