It was mostly teenagers so it was semi clean but could’ve been better.
Can you say “Sticker shock”? My order consisted of a SINGLE cheeseburger, small fry (Cajun, of course), and a fountain drink. When I saw the total was over $22 I almost cancelled and left. Unless you’re eating at a full-service restaurant, NO burger is meal is worth $22. But I wanted a burger, so I “hey, it’s only money”.
The staff was pleasant and went about preparing my order, but out of the at least 7 people I saw on staff, only 3 or 4 were actively engaged in work. Two stood behind the counter looking at their phones. There was a lady in the dining room that was doing a fantastic job of getting it cleaned for the approaching dinner rush (I arrived about 4:30 pm).
The food was delivered in about 7 minutes and was hot and good. A bit *too* heavy on the Cajun seasoning on the fries, but not really a complaint. The bigger issue, of course, is the price tag for what it, essentially, a minimalist dinner. I’m pretty sure that’s the case with most Five Guys, so it’ll probably be a couple years before I visit a Five Guys again, unless either the prices go down or I get a helluva raise.
