Well, 1st you send out emails for buy one get one, turn off system so no one can order! What a way to win a customer, anger them before winning them over, then dont honor it because and I quote ” we are running out of buns and if we do we have to close”, how is this my fault? And why does this null the offer for me because of poor planning on your part! We drove 20 minutes out of our way to get your food and you do NOTHING to honor your email! Then we order food any way for you to incorrectly make a hamburger and quickly we show that you did not add our toppings we paid for, you say you will remake, what a joke!!!! You waited on everyone else and 20 more minutes we have to again ask where the burger is! WOW, I ask and you said that the other people were there and our burger was almost ready! It should have been prioritized as first! Nothing like eating a partial meal when you ordered everything to come at once! No offer of anything, just excuses, one after another!! I suggest prepare your business and get better staff! If I could give a ZERO star rating I would!

Worst manager with red shirt I’ve ever dealt with I used to managed five guys for years and definitely not like this. Brooke don’t need to be working there with a bad attitude and bad services. She told the other employees not to hand the shake to me lol ridiculous. Never will be back and make sure don’t go here! North port is the best one to go with great workers.

Honestly… I’m tired of spending $25+ only for my food to be messed up or be shorted fries! To spend $3.99 for a small cup of fries only for it to be half full is ridiculous! I’ve been going to this location since it opened and it’s steadily become worse and worse…
Lately the food quality is like playing roulette, you might get your food properly made and with the correct amounts or you might not!..
Tonight was my last purchase at this Five Guys location for a while as even the management doesn’t want to fix the issue on top of the attitude I’ve been given for improperly made food or quantity given…
Let’s not mention the disgusting wilted Lettuce on tonight’s burger or how sloppily it was slapped together..
I can only hope this review helps fix this location…

If they had a drive through you know everybody in Port Charlotte would be here. Real fries Fresh burgers, not a steak and shake. I got my meal less than 5 minutes. Looking around the restaurant I see they won many awards around the world. They gave me a sample of fries that’s what made me believer. Now let’s look at the real food and see how it tastes. I got a double cheeseburger with mayo. ketchup. onion and lettuce . Also I got in order small fries. Already had drinks in the car. And yes, everybody: after 1 bite of the Burger, I was right its delicious I don’t understand why they’re not busy as hell. Like burgers on a flat top at home , if u cook. Two pointers the fries are seasoned well , but throw little salt on your Burger. Good eating. By the way nothing wrong with steak and shake just this is better not sure about the desserts think they may loose on that. Perfect amount of food cost me about 13$ more than fast food but just as fast and way better for 3 -4$ more. I know what I’ll pick.

There was only 2 people working today (there should have definitely been more considering it was the 40th anniversary) but the guy on the grill was doing an amazing Job, even with how backed up they were he was one step ahead, he deserves a raise!

As much as they charge you think they would correct an order that they messed up. Refused to fix the mistake on our order that was nearly $60 for 4 burgers, don’t suggest this franchise or at the very least skip this location

Disappointed in my order last night…I live 2 minutes from 5 guys port charlotte…got home my fries were luke warm and over cooked in looks like oil hasn’t been changed in a while. I asked for crispy bacon on my cheeseburger but not burnt.. very disappointed

Called and placed an order over the phone for a large fry. The guy was super friendly and asked if I wanted any burgers or shakes but I said no. I told him I was already in the parking lot so he started them right away. Upon entering we decided we wanted to add some shakes. We mainly came for the fries since we already got jersey mikes subs but wanted fries with it so we came here. The fries were decent. Could have been cooked longer tho as they were a bit soggy and too much salt. Overall for this being a “large fry” that I paid $5 for I really didn’t feel like it was a “large fry”. I’ve been to plenty of five guys to know what a large fry is and this wasn’t it. Shakes we ordered were delicious. And again the guys here were really good and friendly. Originally this review was 3 stars but however when arriving to this point the guys working deserve the extra star. Crisp up those fries a little more and easy on the salt! 🙂
