Five Guys at Speedway in Concord is a nice spot to grab a bite every now and then. The atmosphere is clean and casual, and what really makes this location shine is the outstanding staff. They’re friendly, attentive, and always provide excellent customer service, which goes a long way in making the experience enjoyable.
The food itself is solid, but not exceptional across the board. My wife enjoys the burgers, but I wish Five Guys offered a plain bun option instead of only sesame seed buns. Since I don’t eat sesame seeds, I usually find myself ordering a hotdog. The hotdogs are okay, but not the best I’ve had.
Where they absolutely shine is with the fries—some of the best I have ever eaten. Crispy, fresh, and perfectly seasoned, they’re worth the trip all on their own.
My other suggestion would be for Five Guys to introduce a rewards program, like many other fast-food and quick-service restaurants already offer. That would keep regulars coming back even more.
Overall, Five Guys Speedway earns 3 stars from me. With a few changes—plain bun options and a rewards program—it could easily be a 5-star experience.

The double bacon cheese burger “all the way” was made perfectly. This burger is not your typical fast food burger. Each flavorful bite shouts “this was no frozen patty”. The fries are fresh and crisp. You won’t wait long, unless you’re waiting behind a crowd but even so, there are peanuts to taste while you anticipate that burger.

I saw the *secret menu grilled cheese w a burger* online and came to order it. It’s now a menu item, listed as a patty melt.
I ordered a double burger but only received 1 patty (1 patty is the standard order. So muscle memory is why the prepared it that way I assume). The manager let me keep the burger made in error, and made me a fresh burger to go. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I believe the manager or owners name was Michael. He really made my experience there. You can he just tried to spread joy in the store and cares. Everything was clean, including the bathroom. All the food was great for a great price! Will be back!

Great place to eat, came here on a Monday and the crowds wasn’t too bad. Plenty of seating… food tastes fresh and fries were hot! Great customer service. Would highly recommend this place… the only down side is that the parking is really tight for a truck. But that’s not there fault at all.
