I spent over $18 for just myself and I got: a little hamburger, little fries, and milkshake. Wowza! The little burger was dry and so thin that it felt like I was eating mostly bread with huge chunks of lettuce. It had a great flavor, but these days so do many other burger chains— and I don’t *need* to buy a double burger to feel full. I was still hungry after that so I moved on to the fries.
The fries were so many, overflowing into the bag. Great, right? Except they were all overcooked with that unfortunate grease-hasn’t-been-changed-this-decade flavor. You know the one where the fries are a deep brown instead of golden, even before the Cajun seasoning goes on.
And the shake, which I spent nearly an extra $4 on, was a basic vanilla (tastes similar to a simple Turkey Hill) with Oreo crumbles. Again, this was suitable back in 2012 when there weren’t as many options. But it was all just bland and boring. Maybe I’ve just had some stellar milkshakes since I’ve last been here but it certainly wasn’t special enough for the price. The chocolate Oreo shake at Burger King is somehow better?
It was all just a great reminder that some things are better left in the past. I won’t be coming back, at least not to this location.
And the cherry on top? My order was incorrect. I ordered a regular Cajun Fri and a small normal fry. He inverted that order, and my wife ate my fries. (That part wasn’t their fault, but I was still mad. Lol). I hate typing these reviews, but I think with the exponentially decrease of customer service partnered with the expectation of tipping, this man needs to be removed or trained. Five guys is one of the best sandwich spots. Don’t destroy it by neglecting to hold your staff accountable.
This guy with glasses along with that lady try their best to disrespect the people and define the “I dont appreciate your business”
Who believe last time this guy with the glasses insulted me after a serious conversation over a late order. Pathetic!!!
Totally, weak supervision in this location resulted rude employee encouraged to do whatever they want to do. I never seen Five Guys store like this location before. Really disappointing.
