Five guys is a favorite of mine, I started going to Five guys when there was only one store. I took many people there even my wife when we started to date. I remember the father and the brothers actually making the burgers and taken the orders. The beaugard store was my favorite in the beginning it was small and had no seats. The first store was at Glebe road and Columbia Pike. Five guys is still good, I appreciate what they have become, the franchise has not taken the quality away but has driven the cost to be very expensive. Five guys is a must try. I recommend them for the good food and consistency. I was upset with the new Haymarket Location you can see in the pictures the bacon was like charcoal I had to remove it from my burger, it was not the quality I would expect from a $12 burger or even the Lil burger at $10. The fries are always hot and have great flavor. I would recommend trying five guys they food is usually really good and fresh.

I often visit the Five Guys in Gainesville, especially since the new combos made it much more affordable. I thought tonight I’d mix things up a little and visit the Haymarket location to see which one I prefer. Hands down Gainesville! The layout of the restaurant, the staff, even parking is better at Gainesville. The food was good at both so if you’re ordering online for delivery there’s no big difference but in person I’ll definitely keep going to Gainesville.

I was pleasantly surprised that this location does not have more 5-star reviews. Visiting from Long Island (near NYC), I found the quality here to be excellent. The burger was well-proportioned given current pricing, and the ingredients were fresh and neatly prepared. The fries were especially impressive—crisp and well-seasoned, unlike the soggier versions I have experienced at other Five Guys locations.

Staff were courteous, and the outdoor seating was a nice touch. The only drawback was that some guests did not clean up after themselves, which affected the overall atmosphere.

Overall, a very positive experience, and I would gladly return.

The service was friendly and quick but the food fell far short of expectations for the price.

There was absolutely zero seasoning on my burger and bland, flavorless mushrooms didn’t help. My fries while piping hot and an absurdly large portion were very undercooked. Almost $17 for a sad looking hamburger (see pictures), a small fry and no drink is far, FAR too much money for the quality and taste provided.

Foster’s which is across the street has not only more options for food, they also taste better as well.

Big burgers, oversized fries in a family friendly environment. Brittany the manager and Walter took really good care of me. My go-to burger is mushroom and A-1steak sauce. Five guys burgers are big, the normal burger is two big hand made patties. Highly recommend!

Whatever happened to oversized fries portions? Got very little fries portion for ~$7.

Very soggy and drenched in oil fries. Never again!

They replaced the fries cups with tiny paper bag which didnt fill up properly.

The food is good but it can take an extra while to get your food. Last week they skipped our order until they were reminded and tonight made ours after several other folks had theirs. There were at least 10 burgers done and wrapped on the counter before anyone ended up getting their food. Do yourself a favor and go to the Gainesville store instead.
