Amazing staff, fantastic food, all great.
They gave us lots of extra fries, everything avlbove and beyond. The nice waitress even gave us great suggestions for the food. Definitely recommend.

Horrible service. I ordered a burger with the works “all the way” and fries and vanilla shake. What I got was absolutely a disappointment. I ordered to go. They were dealing with 2 other people who had messed up orders and then called my number, very distracted with the other incorrect orders they were trying to correct. I trusted my order was correct, but noticed I didn’t have my shake that I ordered and paid for. I asked about it and they said “oh, just go to the register and order one”. I said, “no, I ordered and paid for it already”. They finally got it to me. Then I looked in my bag and there was a burger on the bottom with fries piled on top. I thought all was good.
Then I get home and my burger had only 1 patty and was plain, and one bun was missing half of it. So I had 1 plain patty with 1.5 buns instead of 2 patties, the works toppings and 2 full buns. Seems like they don’t care about getting orders correct and have no systems in place to check orders. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT A CORRECT ORDER!!!!

I typically enjoy going to this place always good service consistency is hit or miss. It seems as of lately time management needs much improvement! I walked in and was told two minutes for french fries the young man walks past the fryer several times finally putting french fries into the deep fryer and somehow two minutes turns to 15 minutes as the other orders are coming out. Hopefully this was a one off and not trend

Where do I start? No greeting upon entering and no one taking care of customers at counter. No eye contact, no “I will be right with you”. Must have been short staffed or frankly, I don’t think they care. One thing I have always liked about Five Guys is the service and hustle from the team. The dining room looked in disarray with a Chipotle cleaning meaning zero attendance to it. Not surprising the food was not good. Order was wrong, ordered a little cheeseburger all the way and I got a bacon cheeseburger with someone else’s toppings. Fries were definitely cooked in old oil they looked transparent. I know it’s hard to find people to work but someone owns this business and is not aware that they may be the rare Five Guys that closes because customers will find another location.
Just really surprised as Five Guys always has been a great experience.
Staff doesn’t want to be there let alone serve the public. No pride in their work. Better fix your issues or Shake Shack will take your business.

Five Guys in Amherst continues to deliver very good food, as it always has. The burgers and fries were fresh and well prepared, and the quality remains consistent. Unfortunately, we had difficulty finding a clean table, as most were dirty and the garbage bins were overflowing. It seems that, like many other restaurants and businesses today, they may be struggling to find enough staff—or staff willing to keep up with the workload. The food is still excellent, but the dining area could use more attention.

The was a strange meal.
At first I felt that bacon was extremely overcooked. Look at the pictures to see how burnt the bacon was. It was practically coal/ashes.
I tried to look past it as I continued with my meal, however, as I continued I found that only half my burger had a patty on it… see pics.
I’d say that quality assurance needs a real check here. It didn’t feel crazy busy considering that it was a Friday evening. This just seems to come down to poor execution of delivering a good product.

Hit this location mid afternoon, so it wasn’t busy, but was blown away by the efficiency of the lone employee. He took our order, prepared our food (exactly as ordered), as well as a mobile order, mixed our shakes, served it with a smile, remaining friendly and unflappable the entire time! Impressive! The “little” bacon cheeseburger burger was a good size, and I like that you can add extra toppings such as fried onions and mushrooms, for no additional charge. That being said, found it a little on the pricey side for fast food though. The burger was very good, my companion said it was one of the best they’d had. The peanut butter milkshake was exceptional and I will definitely be returning- especially for a shake! Btw, there’s a box of peanuts on the counter that you can enjoy while waiting for your order!

The service was terrible. I ordered five cheeseburgers, but they gave me regular hamburgers. When I informed the employee, he became very angry. He took the order, angrily opened all the burgers, added cheese to them, and handed them back to us while muttering insults at us, even though we hadn’t said a single word. I took the order and threw it in the trash can inside the restaurant, and we left. They need to give their employees lessons in customer service.

Each and every time we visit a Five Guys the experience is spot on. They have fast and friendly service, always ask if we want anything extra.
The burgers are consistent in taste , when done I always want another one.
My favorite is a hamburger with lettuce, Mayo, ketchup, and pickles.
I highly recommend finishing with one of their Five Guys Milkshakes. The peanut butter one, YUMMY
