Holy grease-trap batman!
This is not my first experience with a Five Guys before, nor my second, but it was the first time I have bought a burger from them. I’ve had their grilled cheese, their veggie sandwich, and the BLT. But never a full beef burger. (mostly because I tend to avoid red meat)
But being as burgers are a part of their tagline, I figured I would have to add it to my to-do list. So here we are.
Ordered online using their website and bought a large Cajun fries, a Bacon Cheese Burger, and a Banana and Strawberry shake. All together coming to a little over $30 before tip, a little pricy but they do give you enough fries to sink a battleship so there’s that.
Had to wait about 7 minutes after the time I requested for pickup, even though I clicked their link to let them know I was enroute and everything. Not the most efficient, but they didn’t go over 10 minutes so it wasn’t too bad.
Back home, well, in the car I slurped down the shake because it was cooking outside and the shake was becoming more milk and less frozen by the second. Very surprised none of the strawberry bits clogged the straw as they tend to do, and the flavor was quite rich but not very banana-y. Still, pretty good.
Now for real, back home, I dug into the burger and fries. The burger was first and boy, I think half the weight of that thing was in grease alone, because man, I think if I had been the tin man I would have been set free from my rusty joints in an instant after I eaten this. The flavor was meaty, juicy, SO greasy, and very savory. It’s been years since I have had an honest to goodness burger, but I do not recall them being so liberal with the fats. As for the fries, well, quite the disappointment. I’ve had them before and they were super! Crispy, spicy, and warm. But here I found them to be limp, oily, and room temperature at best. Didn’t even taste that well seasoned, though perhaps that was because the oils covered up any chance the Cajun had at showing up. A darn shame.
Overall, 4/5 stars. Relatively fast service, super greasy burger, and disappointing fries.

One of the cleanest and most orderly 5 guys I’ve been to. Staff very helpful and courteous. I usually don’t review fast food, but they deserve some kudos for their good work.

Bro. I love this Five Guys, this one is the best one. Workers are always working hard and are polite, kind and courteous. They’ll do anything you want to your burger, even if it’s extra bacon and adding peanut butter on the bun of your Quadruple Bacon Cheeseburger. I despise the other Five Guys because of the outstanding service I always receive here.

I don’t know if all Five Guys are making cuts or if it’s just this one, but after paying 7 dollars for a reg order of fries, I got less than McDonalds gives you in a small order. They didn’t even fill the container.

I basically just spent $15 for a bag of fries and a small shake. I also ordered a hamburger and it’s raw in the middle, normally I would eat it but being the fact that I’m 7 month’s pregnant I’m not going to eat raw meat.

The team that works at this Malta Five Guys location are top notch. They work very hard, they are super friendly and courteous, I am always greeted when I enter the restaurant even though they are super busy. Today there was a mix up with an order – through no fault of theirs, it was an external issue – and they were so professional. They fixed the order very quickly – and in my experience, they handle the pressure of the restaurant business with grace. They have great teamwork here. They deserve the utmost respect and appreciation.

Great food.I would highly recommend the bacon burger. The atmosphere could be improved if tables were visibly clean. Generally, I like to sit down and comfortably enjoy my my meal however, the grime on the table was a bit unsettling. Three stars

An unexpected home repair left us needing food on nye. We didnt expect great service considering the holiday. We were beyond impressed with the service, quality of food and cleanliness all the way up to the ceiling. The food was hot and fresh, portions were appropriate size. The staff is all younger adults and showed better customer service than most middle aged adults in the service industry, particularly with our child. One guy made our kids entire night and we couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend
