Fairly predictable, solid burger chain. Fries are probably the best in the business, and it’s because they are par-fried, cooled and then fried the rest of the way. Try it at home, it’s amazing how crunchy the fries are on the outside and soft on inside.
The burgers are mostly predictable. Some days, like today, you get a stale a bun which crumbles away as you eat it. I think those places make enough money to not have to use stale buns.

This has to be one of the slowest fast food restaurants in Manhattan. When I order from DoorDash they NEVER get the food to the delivery person. They usually have them wait there for 20 mins, then give away the order to someone else, have to remake it, etc. One time they chose to just not remake it at all.

Five Guys never disappoints. The burgers are always fresh and tasty and so are the fries especially the Cajun Fries. (Cajun Fries don’t really need ketchup as they are well seasoned). The service was efficient and this particular location has nice views of West Village from the interior.

The burger itself was decent, but the overall experience was very disappointing. The girl taking orders was extremely unfriendly, which made me feel uncomfortable asking questions about the menu, so I just picked something quickly.
After placing my order, I was given the wrong burger. When I pointed it out and proved it, one of the guys immediately offered to prepare a new one, which I appreciated. However, the girl tried to simply take the wrong burger and throw some bacon on it instead of fixing it properly.
When the new burger was finally ready, she whispered my number so quietly that I could barely hear it, and as soon as I walked up, she walked away, leaving another staff member to hand me the burger.
I honestly don’t understand why she had such an attitude, as nothing unusual happened during my visit.

I’m shocked that anyone would give this restaurant bad feedback. Their kitchen delivers consistently fresh, tasty results. Order various dishes and enjoy the variety. Each team person displays exceptional ability. I plan on returning to this restaurant.

It was good, but not great for the price. I ordered two burgers all the way with jalapenos and neither of them had it. The fries are good but so greasy but seasoned well. Overall I think five guys is a bit overrated but still a decent lunch spot.

This location has solid service and makes for excellent people watching. The nightlife parade through the windows is a fascinating cross section of New York.
Hopefully the staff will have good music on when you’re there. We ended up with a DJ who loves “hair bands.”
