Don’t waste your time going to Amity. This is the second time we’ve gone and this was the portion of UNDERCOOKED fries we received. Such a waste of money. Go to Branford or North Haven instead.

Tonight I placed an order (#61) at 9:09 for the little burger with almost every free condiment and ingredient I could. I was hungry but now I am disappointed in the actual burger. First off, I walked in and they all smiled but I said hi back and they scattered to parlay. Yes, it was nearly closing time so whatever. The cashier, Riley took my order after making me wait to separate 2 dollar tips for his co workers. I placed my order and sat down. I see the oldest employee bagging peanuts in a bag and I asked for a bag. He says, “it’s our policy that customers can’t get the bags ( even though that might be true my actual burger came in the SAME bag) . I put a bunch of peanuts in the little container and awaited my burger. None of them looked happy to be there that night but I played solitaire on my phone to get my time to pass. Then, he calls out my order, the line cook at the moment, and I tried to make a joke so he know I’m okay and that it’s not that bad, “you don’t have to call out my order number I’m the only customer in here” his smile faded so quickly. I was like okay, still whatever.. then I finally eat my burger and it’s thin, too thin, cold, and barely cooked. The best part was the bun and the vegetables I added to it. It was not worth the 8.49 and I gave the change, I paid cash, to the tip jar because I had empathy or sympathy for the workers. Also, the peanuts tasted better AND burger king on whalley Avenue has better burgers and customer service. I am highly disappointed and won’t be spending money here again. No thankgya.

A friend wanted to eat here.
Five Guys is higher quality fast food. The double cheeseburgers look & taste fresh and homemade. Same for the milkshakes made with real ice cream. Ate ¼ of the Dble CB. They’re a decent size definitely enough beef. $13 for a double cheeseburger.
$6.99 for Fries.
$6.99 for SMALL milkshake➡ The only size offered. I don’t think the food is worth the costs. Ultimately up to the individual to decide what’s worth spending their money on.

This was probably my first time back at a five guys in like 3-4 years. The burger and fries are still really good but I just don’t think I’ll ever get over their prices. They charge $8 for a plain hot dog! Anyway, I got the bacon cheeseburger, a regular Cajun fry and a small drink. The total was just under $24 before they asked for a tip. A bacon cheeseburger (which comes with two patties) is $13 now and a regular Cajun fry is $6 plus a drink for about $3. I think from now on when I’m craving a decent burger, I might come here and get just that. You’re talking almost $30 after a tip, that’s a steak dinner at Texas Roadhouse or almost a steak dinner depending on which cut of meat you get there. It’s too bad cause I’d come here more often if they just had normal prices.

Very very over priced burgers. I took my nephews there. Burgers are fresh made in front of you. Also on the menu are hotdogs and fries, Grill cheese, shakes. Not much. For a self-proclaimed burger place, why not have a veggie burger on the menu? All I had was fries and peanuts (peanuts which are all you can eat, in big boxes throughout the restaurant, and very good i must say!). The fries are nothing to write home to mom about. And watched my nephews eat $8-10 burgers, sides extra! Never again. But at least we can say we have been, right? Easy on and off parkway. Clean, professional, you will have to wait bc it’s cooked to order, but it’s not crazy long wait.

Hungry and just need something that packs a punch, deliver on flavor and crosses off all the cravings, then Five Guys does that. A get it you pay a bit more than your regular fast food joint, but the appreciation behind that fresh grilled PREMIUM burger patty when peered with fresh condiments tells you its worth the money with every bite. If I had to guess they focused on customer service first because that was also top tier. Nope this is not a paid review but I believe you should always praise establishments when they get it right and Five Guys they getting it RIGHT!!

The burger was great, and I try to give people the benefit of a doubt because it was understaffed, but they really need to re-train people on customer service. I placed an order through Uber Eats that was supposed to be almost ready by the time I arrived, but after almost 30 minutes of waiting while watching people that ordered after me get their order, I asked about mine. It was just sitting in a bag with a bunch of other orders that were never called out. Nobody took a moment to call out the orders even though there was a bunch of them sitting on the counter, which is really poor service. They should have more staff working, especially when they have specials designed to attract more customers. This is the kind of experience that makes you never want to go back to a place again. Do better Five Guys…..

Not as greasy as some say. Burger was mediocre, not worth the price. I enjoyed the fries, though, despite them being slightly overcooked.

I go to this five guys all the time and have never had any problems until today. I went into the store and swiftly placed my order and while waiting one of the employees Xavier I think his name was verbally assaulted me saying I was “fun sized” and “looked easy to pick up”. One of his other coworkers joined in talking about trying to shoot their shots at customers. I left very uncomfortable and will be filling a formal complaint. Your workers should have more self control especially when I was the only woman in the store at the time. 0 STARS

Food was not fresh. Bun was old fries went cold fast. Lettuce was brown. Burger and fries $20.00 not worth the cost! Go somewhere else!
