I’ve been a regular here for over 10 years, and the food is consistently excellent—I’d even argue it’s better than some of the upscale restaurants around here.
The service is fast, and the staff is always friendly.
For online orders, they often wait until I arrive before making the fries so they’re served hot. Can’t ask for more. Love this place.

Very surprised with how good the restaurant smelled upon entering. BLT was fantastic, and my husband enjoyed his bacon cheeseburger. Cajun fries were also fun. Nice that toppings didn’t cost extra, too. Jalapeños for the win!

Fast and furious. I was sure I ordered a corn dog but what I got was a sausage in a roll. The burger was correct. The fries were good and hot .

What’s up with the No locking bathroom? Scared someone would walk in not ok for public or employees .

Went there with my kids on the last day of our small trip to VT. Excellent service, large portion of (delicious) fries (there was a LOT in the bottom of the bag!) and the burgers were as good as expected. Too bad there is no Five Guys near Quebec city!

Devastatingly, we don’t have a Five Guys closer to Middlebury, so we come whenever we get the chance. I think I have had both of my very best Five Guys experiences at this location. The fries we had last night were certainly the best I’ve ever had at a Five Guys, the burger was amazing, and the manager as well as the workers were kind, friendly, and executed our meal with care. The place was impeccably clean, and they cheerfully made us our meals even though we rushed in 3 minutes before closing. This was 08/13/25. Happy to keep paying a lot for Five Guys, as the food is consistently incredible, the workers get benefits and are paid a living wage, and the company sticks to what they know: making delicious burgers and fries.

> Extremely Disappointing and Discriminatory Experience

On November 1, 2025 (before 6 PM), my family and I experienced racial discrimination while ordering food at this Five Guys location. During my order — spoken entirely in English — the cashier (who was white) asked under his breath if my son “speaks English.” When confronted, he confirmed what he said.

We were shocked and deeply offended. We spoke to the manager immediately, but the experience left us so disgusted that we left without eating.

I reported this through the corporate feedback portal, but the response so far has been procedural and dismissive — a $100 gift card and vague references to “training.” What’s missing is a genuine apology from both corporate and the local store, and assurance that behavior like this will never happen again.

This incident is not about poor customer service — it’s about racial bias that no family should ever experience in any setting, much less a national restaurant chain. I’m asking Five Guys corporate to address this issue with the seriousness and urgency it deserves.

OMG, OMG you guys….
Wow! Been too long, way too long!
Best burgers on the planet and best fries in the galaxy. Juicy, savory, double bacon cheese burger heaven!
Located in a janky little strip mall (I wanted to get away from the tourists) but once inside all is good. Made fresh to order so don’t soil your undies if it takes a little time. Fresh made = delicious and just for you.. Sooo worth it, thanks!

Kinda expensive for burgers but it was good food. $10.09 for double cheeseburger and they’re just frozen like you would get at Costco. The only thing that you go to five guys for is their fries. The salted caramel shake was pretty pricey for the size of the cup.

Me and my friends drove to Vermont from Montreal for the weekend and had lunch at Five guys. We absolutely loved how fast the service was and the food was delicious. 10/10 experience would definitely go again.
