First off, thank you guys for a delicious burger experience. The burger had good weight to it and not messy upon opening the foil. The pics don’t do it justice, but the bacon on my husband’s burger almost seemed latticed. The cook, on this night (01/14/25), deserved a raise. There was definitely attention put into detail. Wonderful treat!

I ordered a cheeseburger ($8.70) only mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, and grilled mushrooms. Also a small order of fries($3.77). Total $12.47.
First of all the place was spotless. Very clean wherever you look and it was a little after 1pm on a Sunday. The people working there were very polite and professional.
I got my order to go. I took it to the car and immediately opened the bag. The fries were delicious. I think this fresh cut style of fries is the best you can get. I then grabbed my burger and the first problem was that it was very messy the way it was wrapped. It was dripping out of the foil they wrap it in and was getting the bottom of the bag wet.
The burger itself was very soggy. The bottom of the bun was almost like soggy paper. The top of the bun wasn’t much better. Keep in mind I only took it from the store to my car in their parking lot right in front of the entrance. It’s not like I drove home and then opened it. I had it for less than 5 minutes as I opened it in the car. There is a difference between a juicy burger and a wet soggy burger. This was wet and soggy.
Flavor of the burger was ok, but the grilled mushrooms had no flavor at all. Overall the burger was bland and needed more seasoning.
In closing the fries were the star here and the place was clean and the staff were very nice. I truly don’t think they are trained right in wrapping burgers to go. I don’t care who you are…you don’t want to unwrap a soggy burger. Especially when it was like 4 minutes that it was wrapped until it was opened. They need to rethink their to go packaging or at least let the burger drain a little before they wrap it. I think if you want to spend almost $9 on a burger there are much better places to go in the area.

Accidently ordered the wrong shake. Tried calling the store to ask them to not put a certain thing in the shake and the phone rang and rang and rang. Automated message says they are experiencing high call volume… which is BS! No one calls that place. No excuse that someone (manager on duty) cant answer the phone. Whats the point of having a phone number if you never intend to answer the phone?

This is a really good five guys.It’s very quiet in here and very clean. The staff is extremely nice and the orders are always very fresh. If you want a place in the area, that’s not that busy.But the quality is good. I would head here. It is my go to roughly once a month.

Customer service to me means a lot! Swampscott,Ma location needs better work and ones that can communicate with the public with out attitude when asking them to repeat their self because of a language barrier, and please if your not serving any more customers turn the open sign off and lock the doors! Because the whole experience tonight was a reason why I will stop giving business to these chain restaurants !

I am a big fan of five guys, but unfortunately I would never come back to this location. There are some very low quality services from this members working at the afternoons. I found plastic on my burgers and there seems this employee do not have any problems with being loud and not letting customers have a great experience.

I don’t think good things about any food place that doesn’t even give a base price. I understand that the burgers price probably depends on what toppings, but a base price would be nice. Things like fries or shakes could have a price listed. Makes me think it’s nothing more than some kind of sleezy rip off place. I also lots me know it’s very over priced.
