We took a short trip to the Catskills and ended up ordering to go one night and eating in on our last night. This place is a must visit if you’re in range. Great atmosphere, super friendly staff, and authentic Irish setting and food. We have the shepherds pie and can honestly say they it was just as good (if not better) then when we went to Ireland last year. Don’t miss a visit to this place!

You know when you go to a restaurant / Bar, and you know it’s the one. This is the go to restaurant/Bar … The owner Garrett is the best. He comes to your table and makes you feel so welcome.talks to you like you’ve known him for years.if anything is not 100% he takes care of it.the waitress Brenda, she’s like your sister, taking care of you with whatever you need. Carson the Bartender is multitasking serving you your drinks and food at the bar or tables. The chefs/cooks /kitchen crew and others I haven’t mentioned behind the scene not getting the accolades they deserve make it what we keep coming back for time and time again. When your in a mood for a beer and a burger eat here , it’s a damn good burger! When you’re in a mood for a nice New York strip steak and a good glass of wine, eat here it’s delicious, Fish , pasta, yeah they got it ! Or just have Wings and a beer , and watch the game on the overhead screens, just sit back relax and enjoy…. In conclusion, Go to Five Furlong’s. Beautiful place with huge deck and stage and beer pavilion set next a waterfall. Its perfect. Service and food were top notch. Wings are fried and baked making them dazzle your tastebuds.

Came in with a group of 10 and they were absolutely amazing. The food is also really good and we were all surprised to get everything so quick and hot. The owner also happened to be there and he made sure we were taken care of, we were happy to be able to support such a great guy.

A local place always open dependable food and menu warm friendly atmosphere, fun, often spontaneous Irish folk music. Dining outdoors in summer, infoors winter and event pavilion for options. Never fails to satisfy a whim to dine outspur of the moment. Highly recomend!

Food was delicious, the wings were some of the best we’ve had in awhile. We saw them delivered to a nearby table and had to jump on it. French onion soup was super tasty & cheesy. We had to wait for a spoon to eat it, but it worked out because it needed to cool down.
The only downside was the service was really slow. We waited for almost half an hour after our plates were cleared and still didn’t get our check until we walked to the bar. It was a Sunday night, so they could’ve been short staffed.

The food has really gone down in quality. I would strongly recommend against ordering the chicken tenders now that they changed chefs. Very small, dry, hard, and no meat. Good place for a beer in the summer.

Recently had my wedding at Five Furlongs and if I were able to give them 10 stars I would. The food first of all was delicious, my family and friends went up for seconds and thirds which isn’t common for a wedding. They offered a wide variety of choices which was great for everyones taste. The steaks and salmon were freshly cooked on a huge bbq right in front of everyone by executive chef Santiago. The staff were friendly and attentive to my guests, and the venue itself was perfect. Quaint, with the beautiful touch of country. There’s a waterfall next to the twinkling lights where you can have your cocktail hour, it’s magical. Sitting area along the back with chairs and sofas gave everyone a relaxing space to enjoy conversations. The new wedding pavilion in its rustic charm has beautiful chandeliers to add that special touch, and the architecture inside the pavilion is something to see. Also provides shelter from the hot sun or if it rains, you’re covered no matter what. There’s a fire pit which adds for the perfect atmosphere. The manager Connie is a pleasure to work with very accommodating, flexible and will help you bring together the perfect wedding day. They went above and beyond to make our wedding dream come true. I would recommend furlongs to anyone looking for a wedding venue, you won’t regret it.
