Listen- this food is a1, top tier. I have an amazing experience each time I frequent! Also got a mass order of wings for my baby shower- THE GUEST WERE DISTRAUGHT WHEN I RAN OUT, and start serving pick n save chicken- LOL, no lie- then I doubled back ordered some jumbo shrimp- I’m addicted- omg..my next venture is the perch and I know it won’t fail me – this place is easily top three spots in Milwaukee in my opinion -10/10 I def recommend

I gave this place a try based on some TikTok reviews I’ve seen. Overall a really great experience. Being a Black owned business I believe there is room for some positive critiques for improvement. I ordered 2 combos fish(catfish filet)/shrimp and fish (perch)/chicken. The price plus the tip I left was $52. Each combo was $21.99. The price took me aback. I do understand within this economy food and supplies are expensive. However, the portions were small. 2 catfish filets and 5 shrimp and 4 pieces of chicken and 2 pieces of perch. A handful of fries and 2 condiment size cups of coleslaw. Now taste, the coleslaw had a vinegar taste to it I wasn’t a fan. The catfish was fried well but a bit bland. The perch was fried hard, but had a really fishy taste. More flavor than the catfish. The shrimps were tasty. The best thing I ate. The chicken was just fine according to my son( jj’s was better to him). The service/atmosphere was very pleasant. I was in and out in about 20 minutes. I do hope this review helps and encourages the business to step up because Milwaukee could use a tasty Black owned fish restaurant.

Entering into this establishment I was greeted and felt welcomed. The cook who I later learned was the owner and his Mom had great hospitality. They really stood confidently behind their menu items. My food was so good as you can see from the 2nd photo..I put that plate down!!! I plan to return because the quality of the food was great a great investment on my return. Go try them out, definitely worth it!!!! ❤️❤️❤️

I’ve had it more than once and its hit or miss. The fish was not seasoned welll. All i could taste was pepper. It had a nice crunch to it and was breaded nicely. The fries were soggy tasteless and underwhelming. Im not a fan of the chicken at all. Again its heavy on the pepper. You get a nice bang for your buck with the lunch special which is the only reason id go again and it would only be of i had some kind of sauce to give it some taste. The staff is very friendly and professional. Theres a certain southern comfort that emulates from the other lady working there.

I’m visiting from NC and heading back, but had to grab something to eat first. This food HIT THE SPOT. I got the fried catfish and jumbo shrimp and fried chicken wings. Seasoned to perfection. Will be back. The owner was very friendly. Oh! And get the strawberry slushy!! Amazing also.

I order a Fat Boy. I was terrible. My bun was hard to bite. On the inside I had a very small piece of fish with 3 shrimp on it. It all was overly salted.The tomatoes were wilted. I was not satisfied.
