Dad and I stopped in yesterday. It was his first time visiting my third. He ordered the Country Fried Steak and I ordered the broiled Salmon. Speaking for my meal it was wonderful. Perfectly cooked. Sides were French fries and homemade vegetable soup. Very happy with the meal and the service. Service was excellent!
I asked dad how was his meal? He said very good! He’s 89 old and said he hopes we go past Fairfield again because he would stop again. Best part was he paid for our meals!

I have heard good things about this diner, however after trying it I wasn’t impressed. I ordered the biscuit and gravy with a side of bacon with the broccoli and cheese soup as another side. The biscuit and gravy had an odd taste like it was old, the bacon was nicely cooked. The broccoli and cheese soup was decent with very little broccoli, But had some odd clumps like it wasn’t mixed well. The serving lady was very nice with a comfortable down home feel inside the diner. Overall the food or what I had ordered was not very good for the price of 23 dollars

Really nice family restaurant. The food was plentiful, not bad, but not crazy good, but for the price, it was worth it. Waitress was on point. Did an amazing job, at our table frequently, very cordial and pleasant. Please tip big for good service! First time visiting, will definitely return. They even offer low carb options!

My husband and I both ordered two different meals but with eggs sunny side up. Both of our eggs had really runny whites to the point we couldn’t eat them. My husband’s corned beef was off, like spoiled, went bad. My hash browns were only half cooked. And when I ordered toast, it came out with so much butter already on it that my toast was soggy and hard to even pick up off the plate. Not to mention our waitress was was standoffish the entire visit and only came by once to refill my husband’s coffee. She was a little bit nicer when we left but that was because we left a $20 tip.
Also, there was a table behind us that was full of food and dirty dishes that was attracting flies when we got there. It was still untouched when we left 30 minutes later, and the place was not busy in the slightest.

The spinach omelet was really light and fluffy. The best I’ve ever had. The hashbrowns were real and cooked on the grill. Big portions.

We were told to sit anywhere from a server standing behind the counter. We waited for two o three minutes for someone to bring menus. Then, another two to three minutes to get our drinks. It The ham and beans were in a large bowl. It came with one small piece of corn bread. Also had the ham and beef sandwich with French fries. I asked for fries to be extra crispy. They were NOT, and they were cold . Asked for a refill of sweet tea. She said they ran out, and it would be 15 minutes to make more. Ummm, that seems a bit long??? However, she did take some unsweet and put sugar in it and gave that to me. They do have a very large menu. (☆☆ Side note, they charge an extra $1.00 for any meal that includes eggs. ☆☆ )

Super cute and yummy diner. I tend to get their waffles and hash browns with sweet tea and it’s always consistently delicious. Very affordable. The wait staff is also super nice and friendly and they are always fairly quick.
