I Came here with a group a friends for a bite to eat. Staff was friendly and food was good. We ordered a bacon cheeseburger, fish taco platter, the chicken caprice sandwich, and crispy chicken cob salad. To drink I got the long way back hard cider which was good. Food came out quick and prices were fair.

We popped in for a quick bite after visiting Smith College Conservatory. The place is gorgeous! Very clean very interesting. The food was ok. They were out of most things we were interested in so they must have been great! The french onion soup was very different from what I was used to. It wasn’t bad. But not amazing. I had the short rib grilled cheese. The waitress said it was a favorite so I picked that over the fried chicken. It wasn’t anything special at all. Kinda cold. Kinda bland. The pickle was disgusting. I love pickles but this one was like a brine cucumber. Not my favorite at all. My husband is a vegetarian and he had a few things to choose from, which is always nice. We shared the bread pudding and that was really good. The service was outstanding. Literally could not have been better. Overall, not bad. Would try it again.

definitely an appetizers spot. we got brussel sprouts (standard), scallop chowder (i loved this.), potato skins (also standard). we got a few mains but they were not memorable. one person in our party got an asian salmon dish because… i guess she doesnt eat salmon or asian food often but this is not an asian food spot. she ate most of it anyway. i got a steak sandwich and it was good but i filled up on apps so i ended up taking that to go. its not a bad place for what it is. you should definitely not skip the scallop chowder though.

Our food was a mix of the quality one woulf expect. My entree (short ribs) was spectacular, my daughter loved her food (spaghetti) but my wife was very disappointed (Crispy Chicken Cobb Salad).
The boneless short rib entree was a large portion that didnt sacrifice quality or flavor. Our appetizer of fried Brussel sprouts was disappointing as well. Dripping in fryer oil to the point im surprised they werent floating across the plate.

very tasty meal! we went for dinner and sat outside. perfect weather and the space was nice. only thing was that our waitress forgot our appetizer so we had it after our meal was complete. love that they have a gluten free menu with gf buns and pasta – it’s nice to be able to have sandwiches and pasta out at restaurants. excited to go back!

We met some friends there for lunch. What a wonderful place. It’s so inviting and nicely laid out. My wife had a Bloody Mary and I had a Hadley Mule. Both of those were so good. For appetizers we had the Gorgonzola & Garlic and the fried Brussel sprouts. Both of those were so tasty. As entrees we had the maple bourbon steak tips and the shaved prime rib. Honestly I was a bit full from the appetizers and only ate some of my food. It was way good and it will be my dinner tonight. I can’t wait to go back.

The food here is absolutely incredible! It’s a clean restaurant, with a historical tinge to it’s appearance. The staff was attentive to everyone at all times. I didn’t see one dissatisfied diner. I ordered the Steak tips with wild mushrooms and rice pilaf. The steak was cooked exactly as I wanted. The wild mushrooms were pan seared in some kind of wine. Point being, they were some of the best tasting mushrooms I’ve ever had in my entire life.
According to their menu, they locally source wild mushrooms and asparagus, so those veggies are fresh as can be.
The only caveat with this restaurant is the parking. To get there, you’ll need to go around the back of the restaurant (row of buildings on the main street), take a right at the first light after passing Fitzwillys, then take your first right into a kind of alleyway. Drive up a little bit and you’ll see paid parking options. I dined there Sunday, so the parking lot was free. Parking lot was a bit filled up. So if you go any other day than Sunday, you’ll have to pay for parking via their license plate kiosk. If you go on Friday night or Saturday, you may not find parking available. It gets really busy in that downtown square area.
Other than that, it’s a good location, within walking distance to other shops near by if you want to window shop.

Great food! Great service! Isa B was an excellent waitress! Ask for her when you get there! I got the Baked Haddock and it was delicious. My wife got the Wicked Alfredo and loved it. I got the Blueberry Cheesecake for the finishing touch. Excellent!
