Guys you gotta check out their toilet cause it’s an aquarium for your a** but! You will want to stay for the best food and service imaginable. Cosy, bright, full of plants on the ceiling, fairy lights and little decorative hot air balloons! The food is amazingly portioned and every detail of it is honestly perfect including some of the best chips I’ve ever eaten. Batter is light, crisp and everything is full of flavour. So well priced too considering our portions. A great place for a date or just to be with your mates/ family. Staff are legendary!!!

I went to Fisk & Frite and ordered the classic cod and chips. The cod was cooked really well. The fish was soft and flaky inside with a light golden batter that had just the right crunch. It was not greasy and you could tell it was cooked at the perfect temperature. The batter had a lovely flavour that made the fish stand out even more.
The chips were a bit too oily and slightly overcooked for my liking. They still had a nice taste but could have been softer and fluffier inside. The tartar sauce was delicious. It was creamy with a nice tang and a little sharpness from the pickles which balanced the richness of the fish really nicely.
One thing I would recommend is to have ketchup and mayonnaise bottles on the tables instead of giving a small bowl of ketchup. Most people like to use both and it makes it easier when you can help yourself.
The restaurant itself is really cute and has a lovely atmosphere. It is very clean and feels well cared for. Overall Fisk & Frite is a great little spot for a fish and chips meal. With a small improvement to the chips and sauce setup it could easily be a perfect place for a relaxed bite to eat.

They have lunch set which is 10£ for fish n chips and a drink.
That is a very good deal consider the inflation nowadays plus the food is totally a bomb.
We also have a whole fried sea bass. The fish is so fresh that there is no fishy taste in it.
The service is top-notch too.
Helpful n friendly.
We got the mushy peas on the house!

I popped in for Lunch on a weekday, I opted for the lunchtime deal which was freshly cooked and absolutely delicious. The service was friendly, the restaurant whilst small was clean and comfortable. The chips might just be the best I’ve had, I will definitely return.

Fisk & Frite was such a unique find; the building is a deep cerulean blue with overhanging octopus graffiti, the inside has comfortable seating with a funky marine-based picture wall, and the entire menu is gluten free. The fries are triple-cooked and extra crispy, and the cod was melt in your mouth. I particularly enjoyed the scampi, they were succulent and plump. The sauces are house made, and you could tell the difference in the curry sauce and the tartare sauce to the normal prepackaged affair.

Absolutely delicious fish and chips, so good I’m giving it a 5 star while still sitting inside. Lovely friendly staff, insanely delicious light and crispy batter, perfect chips. I really can’t recommend this enough. As an added bonus, my coeliac partner can eat here happily as it is all gluten free.

The chips were okay, but the fish was overcooked with barely any batter on it so only could take a bite. Essentially just fried fish. I’m not sure what happened today, but I think for 2x large cod’s this is not great quality
