Very happy to leave this review because I genuinely believe that everything on this menu is well thought out, handled with extra care and served with the best flavors. My go-tos are crab cake, lobster roll, and Peruvian scallops! I just tried the sampler called THE FISH today and oh man deelicious met Hak the owner to thank him for everything, very kind man. Would come everyday if I could! Not a long wait when I was there for dinner they have table seating and bar seating area. Cute, clean restaurant

We got the clam chowder, several oysters, and a lobster roll! The food tasted great. Amazing lobster roll, and I spent four years in Maine too. It was a bit pricey but the quality was great. The bread is phenomenal.

Been exploring more restaurants in Pasadena and walked by Fishwives a few weeks before. Loved the vibe of the restaurant and the staff were super friendly and helpful. But to the main point…the food was really great. Some other reviews complained about the price but considering the quality and portion I felt the price was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend and want to come back and try more dishes.

Such a great menu! We ordered ceviche, crab cakes, mussels, fish tacos, the seafood soup, and their fat French fries are the bomb! Everything was delicious and perfectly cooked. The beer choices are really nice, with cider options, and, even sake. We wish we tried the miso black cod, it looked good. Next time for sure since we will be back! The staff was terrific and accommodating to our big group, coming in at the last minute without a reservation! I liked the Japanese vibe. You can also sit outside in the nsck courtyard. I recommend this spot.

This place is a jewel in Pasadena.
Fish and chips is not cheap but there is a reason: the dish has large pieces of fresh cod with nice fries.
Also had wonderful crab.
As you walk in the smell of fresh seafood entices you to sample their excellent selection. Top Quality all around.

This is the place to go for fresh seafood in Pasadena. The raw bar and the kitchen both provide delicious selections. The oysters, clam chowder, steamer basket, cioppino and branzino are family favorites. Ask the server to separate the salad from the branzino so it can remain crispy. The very savory cioppino can feed two! The steamer basket has enough mussels, clams and lobster to share. This place is very busy so always get a reservation.

By far one of the best raw bars i have been to in decades. Definitively deserves a round of applause. The clam chowder is simple yet the best I’ve had in a very very long time. The raw options are fresh and the staff is beyond pleasant. I will be bringing the family soon. And yes I ordered seconds on the chowder.

Very casual, easy experience and yes, it has that’s New England vibe to it. We went for dinner but it seems like it would be a better lunch vibe.
The prortions were very generous and it has all the seafood classics you would want. I want too into the beer selection and thought they could have been more creative. If you’re in the area and want seafood, it’s worth it.
