I got 2 pieces of catfish and potato wedges and hushpuppies and breaded banana peppers which are pretty good I didn’t finish my food, my papaw asked for breaded banana peppers and this lady gave us fried pickles then they didn’t refill my cup before I almost drank it.

I stopped in yesterday and ate at Fishtales in Norton Virginia and I can’t say enough great things about this restaurant. It has a Beautiful atmosphere and the food was absolutely delicious.. I will be definitely going back when I’m back in Norton Va again. The waitress was very polite & nice. I can’t say enough about how much I loved the food there. I love this place. If you’re ever in Norton, Virginia, go by and eat at Fishtales and you can thank me later. My food was so delicious just go see what you’ve been missing.

The restaurant was great as far as the food. I was excited about eating there until the waiter laughed at me. I was there for my 11 yr olds bday. She wanted seafood so this was where we chose to celebrate. We were left waiting for our food for about 45 mins. So she started to get bored and I ask the waiter if the television mounted in front of us could be turned to cartoons for her and instead of answering politely she laughed and said as she was walking away ,”we don’t allow people to use them.” She was just plain out rude and didn’t really wait on us. If it had not been my daughters day I would have walked out almost immediately. She made me regret stopping there at all. A lazy server.

I was hungry and I got excited when I seen three slabs of catfish before me. I was through a piece and a half before I remembered to take a picture. The second plate was whitefish. My wife had that there was the bowl of coleslaw, spinach, dip, and chips for the appetizer. The little round balls you see on the plate were hush puppies. We will be going back again.

The food was delicious! Our server was awesome he went out of his way to keep us happy! The raw oysters tasted fresh and the catfish was amazing! Also the baby hush puppies were amazing, I have never seen hush puppies that small but it sure did pack a good punch!

Service left a bit to be desired, but the food and price make up for it! I dined in with a teenager and 2 small kids between lunch and dinner and got a to-go order to take to my mom & grandparents. There wasn’t a kids menu, but my girls usually split an adult meal anyway so that was no problem at all- plus they got coloring pages with crayons and loved the murals, aquarium, and enormous shark sculptures. The food is fantastic, and the portions generous! The four of us had leftovers to fill an entire box and with 3 go orders and a tip still spent just $100. 5 meals (kids split one and had water) & 2 drinks. We will always eat Fishtales when we visit Norton! This place was such a good find!
