Wow, its nice being back in the Midwest of La Crosse, WI again. Inexpensive bar food, great hospitality, and the complete neighborhood welcoming.

This place is ok but there are some trouble makers who want to fight everybody. The sketchy in and out leaves for 15 min and comes back gets to stay while the person being bothered is asked to leave. Staff needs to recognize who’s actually causing the problem and protect paying customers from problem customers. Disappointed.

Fish tacos were delicious and everything seemed fairly priced. Others in my party raved about the onion rings. Kinda small but that’s fun too. Had to go up to the bar to order/grab our drinks the first few times but maybe that’s the norm. After a few the bartender knew to come wait on us more often.

My friend and I had cheeseburgers and fries that were amazing! Nothing like a fresh homemade type burger and piping hot fries that were reasonably priced. Nice atmosphere and friendly lady took our order. Very nice and very tasty! We’ll be going back for sure.

It was wonderful went on my birthday haven’t been in a bar for years. Everyone was so friendly even the other patrons, one gentleman bought our tacos for my birthday. The bartender was unbelievably kind and sweet.

Stopped in for Fish tacos…..if you’ve never tried them, this is a must! The fish is very crunchy and hot, the lettuce and other toppings are cold and fresh. The creamy sauce is fantastic! All together…. a great fish taco.

We came in on a Thursday night after fishing lake Onalaska all day. We ordered the double-decker tacos and a dirty dog in a diaper. Way better food than what you’d expect. We were served our food and drinks right away. Sarah was our bartender and took great care of us. We highly recommend fish’s bar.
