Im from Los Angeles came out to to Utah for business and found his Hidden Gem on Yelp food was fresh and delicious best fish and chips I’ve ever had. I got the Yankees special which comes with Cod and salmon and ordered a side of coleslaw, coleslaw was nice and creamy you can you can tell it was homemade. The fish was battered perfectly and they give you huge portions I could only finish half fries were nice and crispy with a beautiful texture delicious all the way around

We’ve had the keto fish three times! I have gluten sensitivities and have zero issues with it. So incredibly good. We are always excited when the food truck comes to Richfield!! I wish they had one more flourless side than the slaw. But it’s the best.

Fish and chips were great. but this place is pricey for a couple pieces of fish and they don’t skimp on the fries. Clam chowder is thin and was different from usual chowders I’ve had. Not bad but not my favorite. The Mac and cheese was very cheesy and delicious. The fries were crisp and seasoned. The service was friendly but they didn’t check on us much and it took awhile to get the check. Even tho we were the only ones in the restaurant. It was a decent experience.

We went to the food truck in Vernal yesterday. Ordered fish and clam chowder. While we waited, one employee left the truck to go in Smiths grocery. No food moved the whole time he was gone. No communication was made. When he came back it still took another 15 minutes before anything was delivered. Total wait time was 35 minutes for my food. He gave me my fish orders, but no Clam Chowder! I had to ask for it. He gave it to me and I had to ask for a spoon! I wish i would have forgotten the clam chowder after all that time. It was horrible. No clam taste at all. It was like thick flour paste. We should have tasted it before we drove home. This is not the first complaint about the clam chowder. I read many in these reviews. It tasted like it sat on a pan all day inambient temperature! Disgusting!

Fish On food truck was less than I hoped for. The 3 cod fillet meal for $17 was not worth it. Although the cod seemed fresh, it was extremely greasy/oily …just more than what I like… fries were ok, just lacked flavor. They provided 2 packets of ketchup, 1 small cup of fry sauce, and 1 small cup of tartar sauce, both of which were filled 1/3 or less. The tartar sauce wasn’t enough to go with the 3 fillers and severely lacked in any flavor …same with the fries… my coworker got the Yankee combo…and for $22 … said it wasn’t worth going back. He said the cod was good, but the salmon wasn’t good at all. I’m sure there are better places in Utah, but I wouldn’t use my money to go back. Please note that we had to wait probably 20+ minutes as well…

Ordered the cod and fries and wow they were very good. The fries had a little extra coating which i love. Now to the fish. The batter was perfect it wasn’t some thick coating that you get with many places. It was a little pricey for the three piece( 20) but there was plenty of cod in those three pieces so I’ll be back again.

I was looking for a fish sandwich because they’re so hard to find in the valley and was happy to find this place. I got the cod sandwich with fries, and the batter on the cod was very nice and light and not too greasy, and the fries were perfectly crisp and seasoned. Nice little addition to the Ivy place Mall. The coleslaw was freshly made. Nice and clean, and will be back.

The lobster rolls were quite good, in my opinion. As for the clam chowder, the flavor was great, but it could use less potatoes. Otherwise, it was excellent overall.

Amazing little place with probably the best fish and fries I’ve had. We were in the area and decided to try something different that we can’t get near our home. The wait was outrageous, but I found out that there were only two employees doing all the cooking and serving. We were well taken care of by the waitress, but the food was the star. The fish being moist, tender, and superb tasting. The fries were crunchy, thick, and flavorful. If you’re in the area, stop by, just try to avoid heavy meal times.

UPDATE: We went to FishOn Bistro on Tuesday this week 11/05…. Same great experience as the first time. The portions are huge, the best Fish and Chips I have had in Utah. I took a photo this time We ordered two of their 3 piece cod and fries meals, and we could not eat all of it, we had leftovers to take home. The fry sauce is amazing, so is the tartar sauce and malt vinegar. So yummy.
Update: 12/19/24 We went to FishOn Bistro, the brick and mortar store today, it was great. It is in the Ivy Place Shopping center on the corner of 900 E. and Van Winkle Expressway. I am adding photos of the store. We had the two piece cod and fries. It was just wonderful, as always, hot fresh and delicious. The fries are so crispy. They have really great fry sauce and tartar sauce..
We tried FishOn’s Food Truck tonight in West Jordan, I’m so glad we tried it. The fries were amazing. Fry sauce was great. The cod was the best fried cod I’ve had in a long time. Prices were super reasonable. Tartar sauce was great and it came with a very fresh wedge of lemon. We will definitely be back.. sorry no photos. I’ll get one next time.
