Awesome food perfect quality and quantity. We chose grilled salmon, cat fish and shrimp. I think it is family run business. Homely environment and rustic look makes it nostalgic. It is must visit place if you are in Pilot Point.

Incredible food and very sweet service! We were greeted the minute we walked in with a smile. We wanted to branch out and have been looking for a really good seafood place, and boy did we hit the jackpot! I’m a San Francisco area transplant and always look for seafood, but wasn’t able to find it until I found this place. Everything was so delicious. My husband and I both had the seafood platter and my son tried seafood for the first time, we all loved everything! We also ordered the shrimp gumbo and crawfish Julie, both were excellent (my first time trying crawfish and it was my favorite). Thank you so much for a wonderful birthday dinner! We will be back!!!

I got the 1/2 order of the Catfish Basket. They got it out to me fairly quick and hot. Catfish strips were about 8 inches long. Very good food. Decent price. Quick service.

We finally tried this place and were rewarded. In an area that isn’t blessed with many good sit-down restaurants, this place is a gem. My wife and I stopped in for lunch today. I was the odd man and got a cheeseburger (in a fish place) after the owner (presumably) said that the burgers were really good – and she wasn’t kidding. The burger was made the way GOOD burgers are done. Nice sized patty of fresh beef, a slab of real cheddar cheese, all the veggies on a toasted bun. My wife said that her catfish and shrimp were very good – tender and flavorful. We both got fries with our orders, and they were the nice thick slabs that you rarely get anywhere. Yum.

To top it all of the restaurant was spotless and nicely decorated. This place could be used as a educational experience for any budding restaurateurs for how things should be done…did I mention it was spotless and organized well?

This will be a go-to place for us from now on. We’re happy when we can find a good spot for each variety of food in our new area – we have a our fish and burger spot now. Check them out, you’ll thank me.

My wife and I stopped in for a catfish basket. We enjoyed the food, and the friendly service! The corn fritters were tasty too! The owner/manager greeted another couple by welcoming them back, and confirmed where they last sat in the restaurant and remembered they were in the real estate business. It is good to have great choices in the Aubrey/Pilot Point/Celina triangle.

We’ve heard that this place had great food, and we were really looking forward to shrimp po-boys. The service was great & they were really nice on this Friday night, but we left almost immediately because they were out of po-boy bread and catfish. Disappointing, but we we ended up finding a great place nearby, so it worked out good for us. We will try to go again sometime in the future when we’re in the area again, and hopefully we can give a better review.

MY husband and myself drive 30 minutes to eat here and usually it is good, however, last Saturday we went there and had the most awful experience. They had a bunch of kids in there running the restaurant and when I go to get their attention they literally ignore me. We were having to constantly fight the flies, and pathetic as it is the long haired blonde young girl said she was going to bring us a fly swatter but never did. We also had to wait on refills of tea and had to wait on our check. They continued to keep that back door open letting out the air and letting in more flies. Was really hot in there. We were going to stick it out because we love the Chicken Fried Pot Roast, however, when we received it it was burned and had no breading on it. Told the little girl and then she brought one little pan of it redone and it was exactly the same. Looked like their grease needed to be changed as well. but they were to busy talking at the back door. SO I called the next day to express my concerns and no one answered the phone. Left a message with my phone number and no one has even bothered to call back. Extremely disappointed!!!!!!!

First time in and it is hands down our new place for fried catfish and shrimp tacos. Surprisingly everything was super fresh, you expect the seafood to be …. but everything was the rice, coleslaw, home cut fries …..

The staff was super nice and just an overall good experience. We also took a bread pudding to go. Just took it out of the oven and it is dangerously delicious!

Awesome, awesome place. Had the fish combo. The catfish is fresh and taste’s sooo good. The fries are steak fries (my favorite)not those skinny fries most places have. The fried okra is delicious and tastes fresh. Definitely worth a visit or 12. Lol. They close kinda early (8pm Tue-Thur and 9pm Fri-Sat) so make sure you get there early. I definitely recommend them.
