The spider roll SR10 and Sashimi Set Turbo C12 were excellent.
Soft shell crab tasted fresh, no rancid taste.
Fish with Sashimi set were fresh and portions were reasonable.
Lots of ginger and wasabi came with the takeout order.

Fishing Sushi is an absolute hidden gem! It’s a small and quaint spot, and while there’s not a lot of seating, it adds to the cozy charm — and honestly, it’s worth the wait if it’s busy.

I ordered the California rolls, tempura, and a green salad. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and the flavors were spot on. The California rolls were perfectly made, the tempura was light and crispy, and the green salad was surprisingly delicious — fresh greens with a flavorful dressing that really stood out.

The staff are super nice, polite, and welcoming. They take the time to make sure you have a great experience, and their kindness really makes the visit even better.

Pricing is average for sushi, but the quality and service make it feel like a great value. If you’re in the area and craving sushi, this is definitely the place to go. Highly recommend!

I’m shocked. The ratings were decent so I came in pretty hopeful! This place is extremely over priced for the amount of food and lack of flavour. I bought cheese and crab wontons for 10$ that were BARELY filled.
And my poke bowl was supposed to be spicy but it was so bland and the fish was chewy. Take your business elsewhere as there’s way better spots to try than this one.
Service was whatever and dining room was small. Never again.

By far the best sushi place in Burlington. Admittedly, I order from here way more than I should, several times a week on skip the dishes. Every time without fail it’s amazing. The quality and freshness of the salmon is unmatched. The sashimi and nigiri melts in your mouth. Never had a below 5 star experience from here.

Some darn. Good. Sushi. I’m actually so impressed. I think it’s the best sushi I’ve had in Burlington.
The white fish sushi is super delicious. Anything torched was great! Their classic rolls are also fresh and delicious.
Very nice packaging, so it would be really great for catering/a party.

One of the best sushi restaurants in Burlington! I have bought sushi at Fishing sushi more than once. I have to say that whether it is maki rolls or sushi, they are surprisingly delicious! The chefs are also very attentive to meet our needs, a very satisfying experience! Will definitely buy food from fishing sushi again!

The sashimi was very fresh and great quality, the rolls were really good, the Zone-B roll was really good but a bit thin/small portion, other wise everything was great quality. Also ordered the edamame and yam tempura which was delicious.
Very friendly staff and lots of pickled ginger was included in our order, which was a nice touch!

Whenever I want consistently good sushi, Fishing is always one of the top restaurants on the list in Burlington. The food is fresh and the quality of sushi and sashimi is there. They are a tiny bit more pricy than other places in Burlington, but it’s well-worth it, in my opinion.

Really impressed with the food here. Ordered a small Maki party tray for pickup, was told on the phone it’ll be about 25 mins but it was ready much quicker. Just for ‘my own’ personal preferences, what I look for in good sushi and Maki rolls is the sushi rice made a certain way. Having travelled to Japan numerous times over the last 20 years its always nice to see rice which reminds me of the sushi I’ve eaten in Japan. I love it when the sushi rice is at room temperature, not too sweet and stays together when you handle it with chopsticks or by hand but separates when you bite into it (isn’t mushy and too dense if that makes sense). The rolls were tight enough inside where nothing fell apart for me when picking it up with chopsticks, and I was actually surprised at how much fish was in the rolls. Personally, I like a smaller amount of rice to ingredient ratio and this was perfect. I definitely have my favorite places in Toronto that I always go back to but it’s great to have found this spot close to my home here in Halton. Will 100% be ordering here again.

Great new sushi spot in Burlington! My husband & I saw that they opened and had to try it. It did not disappoint. They have cool flavour combinations and everything was so fresh & tasty. (The vegetable pizza was especially delicious!) Prices are reasonable too. Love that they offer 10% off when you pickup and pay cash. Highly recommend!
