Pablo was awesome. He refused to serve me a badly made steak. I had to order something else, but I didn’t get a bad steak. Pablo did a great job, seeing as he was the only server there. I’m sad the food didn’t get good treatment. The shrimp scampi was more lemon and hardly (if any) garlic, and only 4 shrimp. The cheese bread was okay. The sauce was delicious though. My wife reports the pizza was awesome. Pablo is the only reason this review is 5 stars.

Food was excellent the desserts were made in house not on a conveyer system in a factory. Our server was excellent and very polite. Music was great while dinning nice to listen to some classic 60s-70s music. I would highly recommend a bowl of there seafood chowder with your meal.

Best shrimp scampi I have ever had. The seating area, decor, and plating of the meals gives a feel of an expensive restaurant without the cost. The staff was amazing and accommodating even though we came in a little late from out of town. Plenty of drink choices if that is your vice. We will ALWAYS come back when we are in the area.

Today I visited the Fishing Rock Eatery and loungs’s food truck at the Highland games. It was an extremely long wait, but to be fair it was a busy event and it was an extremely hot day. The food was super disappointing. The portions were very small and the fish was extremely dry and under seasoned. The fries were colorless and there were few to speak of. The seafood chowder was good, but overall we were pretty disappointed with the quality of the food. Especially given the cost. The staff were friendly, but lacked some basic sanitation skills. Orders that were unclaimed were stacked next to a garbage can and the woman taking orders and handing out food repeatedly wiped their nose on their hand. The whole experience was disappointing.

I didn’t actually go to the restaurant at the coast but to the food truck at the Festival of Balloons in Tigard. The fish and chips were excellent. I love the crisp fries and was happy the fish was in smaller pieces to allow it to be eaten more easily in the festival setting. A squeeze of lemon made this a great lunch. I met the chef and some staff, and everyone was extremely kind and efficient. I hope to see their food truck around at more events. When the weather gets cooler I would love to try their chowder

Living Local: easy to highly RECOMMEND (we try/support many places). Consistently very nice dining. Creative & varied menu, with occasional specials (prime rib often on Sunday). Bar is very clean (important) and well maintained. Professional staff & frequent bonus of live music in the bar.

Great place. Shelby was amazing. Pineapple shrimp appetizer was spicy delicious. My wife loved the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. Bathrooms are super clean. Sports on 2 TV’s. We’ll be back.

Ordered burger, fish & chips, and tomato/ mozzarella salad online. Hubby went to pick it up at specified time, but online orders hadn’t been checked, so the food order was never sent to kitchen. Hubby decided to wait for the food. The salad was good. The fish was good but sparse. But the burger was not hot–not even warm–and overcooked. Why ask how I want the temp of the burger if you can’t get it right? This is the 2nd time this has happened, but I wanted to give it another chance. The waffle fries with both the burger & fish were also lukewarm. I hate cold fries! This is also the 2nd time it’s happened (cold fries). Kitchen staff needs to be better trained so that all the food is hot and burgers are cooked as requested. BTW, we live only 3 minutes away, so the cold food didn’t get cold on its way home. P.S.I will say the waiter tried giving hubby $10 as compensation for the inconvenience, but hubby wouldn’t take it because he felt sorry for the guy as he was the only one waiting tables.

Extremely hit or miss. Burgers and pizza were good. Po-boy, fish n chips, and artichoke fritters were genuinely bad. Po-boy had no flavor. Breading on fish and chips was like chicken nugget breading and was not good for fish and chips. Portions were very small for $16 on each entre. The loaded fries are absolutely not worth the extra $3. Would recommend for burgers and pizza. Would stay away if you wanted something else.
