It’s a small little place with a few tables to sit down to eat. We ordered our food to go. The seafood is great quality. Out of the 2 lobster rolls I’ve had theirs was the better one. I like that they have options for how you can have it served. Shrimp & lobster was so fresh tasting and the fries were good. I would’ve expected my chips to be cooked fresh, but I enjoyed everything.

Fisherman’s Net is exactly what you hope for when you’re hunting for a real Maine lobster roll. We ordered two — one classic with mayo and one warm with butter — and both were absolutely incredible. The lobster was fresh, sweet, and piled high, and the rolls were perfectly toasted without overpowering the star of the show. It’s rare that both styles are done equally well, but they nailed it.

We also had a cup of clam chowder, which was rich, creamy, and full of flavor without being too heavy — a perfect pairing with the lobster. Yes, the rolls are on the pricey side at around $32 each, but honestly they’re completely worth it for the quality and portion you get. This is the kind of place you go when you want to experience Maine seafood done right, and Fisherman’s Net absolutely delivers.

The family and I had our first experience here. We didn’t realize they were on winter hours, so they were planning to close the dining room when we got there. They still let us sit down, order and eat.
The food was amazing. We all had combo plates. The haddock was light and not over crisper, shrimp and calamari were lightly battered.

The staff apologized for the heat issues, as it was a bit cold in the room.

We will definitely be back. Don’t assume Google Map has the correct hours.

I was in Gray and was looking for a restaurant for lunch. I saw the high Google rating so decided to give it a try. The restaurant was very clean. The waitress was friendly, professional and a great advocate for the restaurant. My friend and I were very impressed with the quality of the food and how well the seafood was prepared. Met the owner who was very down to earth and very friendly. I plan to go back there whenever I’m in the area.

I don’t know if I am sleep deprived and hungry or if this place had the best soup ever. We were in the area because we needed an emergency vet and do not have one 3 hours away in northern NH. We stopped in here on our way home for some lobster and soup. We got the clam chowder and lobster stew.

Oh my word. It was incredible. So much meat in each soup. Full claws and clams. Every bite had meat. It was amazing!

I ordered a seafood combo haddock whole belly clams in scallops for $56. I received about five bay scallops small handful of very overly cooked hole belly clams, and two small pieces of Haddock!! The whole platter weighed less than a half a pound. It was horrible for the money save your money.

During a drive from Boston to Arcadia, my group was hankering for fresh seafood from a no thrills restaurant. Fishermen’s Net was the PERFECT choice! The restaurant looks more like a community center than a restaurant, and I knew immediately this was going to be an authentic experience. The patrons are all locals. This is not a tourist trap. This is just a simple restaurant to get great and local seafood at a very reasonable cost. I would highly make a visit to this place if you’re looking for seafood in a casual setting. Note: they also have an entire section dedicated to takeout, and although I didn’t purchase anything, everything looked great!

I randomly stopped in to check out the market. Hospitality was great. Very friendly. Limited selection but very good quality. I purchased some of the homemade seafood chowder. Very good. Great flavor. Nurembega oysters, phenomenal. Definitely going back soon.

Great little place right off the main road in Gray Maine. We stopped there for lunch and I had the fried haddock and calamari plate with onion rings, pickles, and tartar sauce, as well as a local beer. My friend had the fried clams with onion rings. Service was quick and we very much enjoyed our food. There’s also a place in the same building and ran by the same people where you can buy fresh seafood, lobsters steamed or live, lobster meat, haddock, and several other locally sourced fish. We plan to be back in the very near future either to dine in or for takeout.
