Exactly as promoted. Old school dive bar – cold beer, great prices, friendly service. Food / munchies is an upscale hotdog cart – with nachos and pulled pork available in the parking lot just off the deck – at least on Sundays. Music starts at 4, place fills up quickly with mostly locals – very laid back / eclectic crowd to say the least.

Fun bar, great music! We try come Sundays and Tuesday for the jam sessions. Wendy is fantastic and Justin is on Fire every time he sings. Bartenders are awesome and handle the large crowd very well! Keep up the excellent job on all levels.

A local Hotspot with a view! Live music, cold beer(and liquor) new owners have sunk some well deserved money into this place and it shows..it was always a local Hotspot it just is alot nicer now! The food truck is on hand and the guy working it is super friendly and knows how to make his menu shine! Jennifer, at the bar is super nice and quick! Good job folks! I have been coming here in and off for 45 years! Come by land OR sea!

I have been a regular the shack for some time. I like the owner Dan and the upgrades he has done to the place. I stopped by on Sunday with friends for a few beers and listen to the music. The problem is, the band member kept closing the door. She was rude and was using vulgar language. I understand that the AC was on but inside seating is limited and all the smokers are inside with the doors closed. It wasn’t a pleasant experience.

This place is near the water nice view of the river but smoking is allowed inside and I can’t take the cigarette smoke so I may not come back haven’t tried the food but it’s from a food truck so don’t know how good it might be
