This place has been a consistent gem for many years and my dad and i have gone dozens of times. Fish tacos are fresh, generously-portioned and beautifully fried with a nice little corn tortilla and a little crema/sour cream (goes especially well with a cold beer on a summer day here in Palm Springs) . The rice pilaf is great, too!! 6/5 tacos

Cashier helpfully recommended the special, which got me 3 delicious fillets for a very reasonable price. A perfect post-presentation celebration. The vibes are great too. Would give 6 stars if I could.

This place just has good food. Not flashy. It had a diner feel. You order from food counter, pick a table and it get delivered when its ready. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. The prices were reasonable and the portions were large. We both got platters so we could try everything. So fresh…. you could taste how fresh it was.

This is the best fish and chips I’ve had in Southern California. The quality of the cod is excellent. The breading is crisp and flavorful. The wedges are the best fry alternative I’ve ever had in recent memory. The service is always fantastic. The other fish on the menu is always cooked to perfection and flavorful. I won’t go anywhere else for seafood.

There isn’t a chance I come to Palm Springs without this being my first stop. My wife and I have been coming here since 2015 and it’s always the same. Best sea food in town hands down. Best fish and chips dinner. 3 piece halibut. Very consistent. Can’t wait to come again

Tasty, fresh seafood at reasonable prices. Nothing fancy – counter service. Shaded outside tables and a small inside dining room. I had some excellent grilled fish tacos and my wife was happy with her salmon bowl.

Great fish and chips. The fries were really the best part of the meal. So crispy! Once I’d finished those, the next best part was the crunchy fish, and then, the amazing coleslaw. Definitely one of the best fish and chips I’ve eaten in the USA.

If you’re in Palm Springs and craving seafood, Fisherman’s Market & Grill is a “solid” choice. Reminiscent of the seafood joints you’d find in San Francisco, this place offers fresh Alaskan seafood in a laid-back, market-style setting. It’s not fancy, but it’s a local favorite and more affordable than many other seafood spots in the area .
With a variety of options on the menu, first-timers should definitely ask for recommendations to navigate the offerings. During our visit, we tried several dishes with mixed results. The shrimp tacos were decent, but we felt they could use more shrimp and less salad . The campechana, unfortunately, was a letdown, with too much ketchup and not enough seafood.
The oysters, however, were the standout dish—fresh and delicious, they were definitely the highlight of our meal . The service was friendly and the prices were fair, making for an overall pleasant dining experience.
For those looking to try their specialty, we recommend the fish n’ chips. They seemed to be a crowd favorite and looked fantastic .
Overall, Fisherman’s Market & Grill is a great spot for locals and visitors alike who are looking for a casual seafood meal without breaking the bank. It may not be fancy, but it delivers on quality and value, making it worth a visit if you’re in the area .
