Got their fish burger for $12. It was not good, especially for such a price. The bun was slightly cold when I got it and the cheese was also similarly cold. Its winter, but I feel like thats all the more reason to serve food hot, or at least warm.
The fish was rather bland, but at least the tartar sauce was alright. Indoor seating space is cramped and awkwardly positioned. I was directed to order and pay outside at their counter.
Can’t say I will return when there’s Moby Dick and Coney’s just a slight walk away. Seems like their store is designed to cater during summer times, so coming here during the summer might be better. Even then, the food was not good at all for the price.

If you’re craving amazing fish and chips, Fishboat Restaurant is the place to go! The fish was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the fries were hot and flavorful. Every bite was satisfying.
What made the experience even better was the outstanding service from Jasmeen Kaur. She was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made sure everything was just right. Her positive attitude truly stood out and made the visit even more enjoyable.
Great food + great service = a place worth coming back to. Highly recommended!

Tried the chicken burger at Fishboat Restaurant and it was seriously amazing! The chicken was juicy, perfectly crispy, and packed with flavor. The bun was fresh and everything was put together just right every bite was delicious.
Shoutout to Jasmeen Kaur for the fantastic service! She was very friendly, welcoming, and made the whole experience even better with her great attitude and quick service.

Absolutely delicious fish and chips with light, crispy batter and fresh, juicy seafood every time at Fishboat Restaurant. The portions are generous, so you definitely get great value for your money. The homemade tartar sauce adds excellent flavor and makes the meal even better. The atmosphere is simple, relaxed, and very welcoming. It feels like a perfect place to sit, enjoy good food, and spend time with friends or family. The friendly service makes the experience even nicer. It’s also great because you can take your food and walk down to the beach to enjoy the beautiful view in White Rock. It’s a perfect spot for a casual lunch after a relaxing stroll along the promenade. Jasmeen did a really good job—she was very generous, kind, and helpful, and made sure everything was great during our visit.

Delicious. So clean tasting compared to the others nearby. Very fresh with a light golden batter (they must change their grease super often). Nice thick pieces of fish, not just a whole bite of hard batter in your mouth. Tasty homemade tartar sauce -the best kind. Your food comes in an easy to eat out of open-faced paper box with lots of room for the fries and the fish which makes it really easy to walk around with if you want to head to the beach. If you eat in, there is a clean table, where can take a great selfie!! The decorative wooden post behind you has this aqua green rope wrapped around it with a big rustic chain and there are sometimes blooming flowers trailing down. Jas, who took my order is really nice. I like her. My boyfriend and I only go to this one now. See you soon, on my birthday!!

Pretty great little fish n chips restaurant along the strip in White Rock. I ordered the cod burger with fries and a coke. Dang tasty and doesn’t disappoint. Good texture and flavour with the cod and yummy crispy fries. Do yourself a favour and visit the Fishboat Restaurant in White Rock for a satisfying meal.

A solid fish and chips on East Beach! I had the 1 piece cod and chips. Good portion size for the fish. Chip lovers may find the portion size small compared to other spots nearby. The chips were a little over salted but fine. The fish batter was fairly light and crispy. Tartar sauce included which you pay extra for at Moby Dick and others. Came with ketchup and white vinegar but no malt which is a downside.

I ordered earlier in the day for delivery in the early evening. Proceeded to work on renovating my condo all day, looking forward to some fish and chips when I was finished. Delivery time came and went, I checked on their website and they cancelled my order. They didn’t call me to let me know, no email, no text. Ruined my night. I only ordered because I’m really busy and thought I would treat myself. Never will I do business here again. They should be ashamed.
