We had a lovely lady. I think she says her name was Melanie. Forgive me if that’s not right. She was very kind and attentive . We both ordered the fried shrimp and fish combo they have 2 kinds of fries and we choose the home fries. I’m sorry i already ate half before I took the photo. It came quickly. And it was hot.. just like I like it..I did tell her the shrimp was much smaller than I expected and she told us they had ran out of their regular shrimp. I would eat here again if in the area hungry

I ordered on Uber eats. The large catfish description say it includes hushpuppies and fries. I also added a note that said not tarter sauce and add extra cocktail sauce. When I received my order it had no cocktail sauce and two tarter sauces. It also had no hushpuppies.

I love this place! The fish, shrimp, and fries are always so good. We usually order the family platters to go, and they’re such a great value for everything that’s included. The food is always steaming hot and fresh every time. Definitely recommend!

I do like coming here for their fried catfish, but they are always understaffed and service suffers because of this. The fish is generally always very good, but service could definitely use some help.
Update: came to fish tales for dinner 2/14/25 and the waitress was very attentive and got our drinks and orders taken right away. There were several people dining , so it did take a little while for our food to arrive, but it most definitely was not an unbearable wait. Fish and fresh cut fries were delicious as usual.

My brother and I used to religiously go to this place to eat after school; we loved it. I went a few day ago, and I still think it is a great place. The server is kind, the food is HOT & FRESH, overall a great place to eat. My favorite side from this place are the hushpuppy.
