Great place for poke bowls and starters. Delicious and flavorful some with a kick due to the jalapeños. Pork dumplings were amazing – a must-get option. They the the brown sugar bolba popsicles in the freezer case. These have been hard to find so don’t pass those up.
Service was outstanding – friendly and helpful. Wish more restaurants were like this.

I used to visit this restaurant years ago, and it was so good! Then they moved…then they moved back! And I stopped by today, after quite a long absence since it isn’t really in my neighborhood…and they changed up the whole menu! They have a bunch of delicious bowls, and fun tasting plates, and still have amazing flavors. The bowls even have a brown rice option! My husband and I both got the spicy bowl. It was excellent! We will be putting this place in our regular routine now that it is pretty close to both of our respective workplaces. It’s a great brunch place, and an awesome after work date spot. Also everything is very cute, and dog themed, and the staff is amazing. Highly recommend!

This place is wonderful. Seems like they had lots of regulars come in which is always a good sign. Sushi was so fresh and their seasonal menu was great. Pictured here is there special carbonara udon. I would definitely come here again!

Incredible food. The steamed dumplings were bite sized and tasty and the oyster topped with shrimp and crab was so fresh it melted in my mouth. I never thought rice could taste this good, it was amazing and it’s just rice.

I’ve tried so many things on the menu and they’re ALL delicious!!! I especially love the vegetable rolls! But my favorite part about this place is the service! They are so family friendly and kid friendly. My 3 year old and I love to have mother daughter dates here. They have kid cups and kid friendly chopsticks. My daughter loves the miso soup and vegetable dumplings. Absolutely love this place!!!

My first time visiting this establishment. Super cute sushi spot! Very warm and welcoming! The food was VERY tasty and wonderful! i wanted to try my favorite dishes so i kinda over ordered but it wasn’t as expensive as i was anticipating! I ordered the torched albacore, shrimp tempura roll, spam musubi, seaweed salad and miso soup. It was honestly some of the best sushi I’ve had in Portland! The staff was very kind and thoughtful as well. Highly recommend it to anyone! I will most certainly be returning soon! Y U M !

Sweet and homey spot! Opens at noon and was busy right away. Lovely aesthetic with charming touches. They have a whole menu of specials that will definitely entice me to return, though I mostly just wanted to come back to try the salmon bowl I watched my dining companion eat. The prices range from reasonable to indulgent splurge. Really nice to see shiso and other harder-to-find elements.

I could definitely tell how this experience going to unfold even before taking my first bite by seeing how English cucumbers are sliced and cut in uniform size, Toro nigiri blow torched at spot-on texture. not to mention those snowpeak mugs and seat cushions.
Ambience, service 5/5 stars, last but not least the food.
