Place was bright and inviting have music and DJ on Thursday and fridays. Fried shrimp and onions rings were very good. Our waitress was friendly and informative casual fun for drinks and music and snacks. The place was fairly empty then only a few more customers came in and the smell of smoke was overpowering I’m glad we were finished if you don’t like cigarette smoke the I suggest you go elsewhere. Hope you will check back for my next review let’s roll ….Lain

Fish place is awesome. Everything we’ve ordered from there has been the bomb! The staff is friendly and humble. Very helpful when we asked questions. My favorite side order is the Red Beans and Rice. The Tuscan potatoes is next! All of the seafood is on point but try the ribs too! OMG to died for. Great portions too. Every time we stop at Galveston for a weekend trip we have to visit Fish Place!

Dear Fish Place,
The first time I ate your crab balls, I had to look more closely at it. It was that good! I don’t care that it was imitation crab, there was lots of it, and they were DELICIOUS!!!
However, I came in the next weekend, and they were super doughy. So, I looked at them more closely, and there was so much cornbread dough filling . There was not very much “crab meat” in them, at all. I was very disappointed.

Tonight my coworkers and I ordered out for lunch, and when they gave me Panko breaded shrimp,& red beans, in lieu of the green beans that I ordered with my Red snapper and Mac & cheese, I called them.
Long story short it would have been better that they gave me ALL FRESH fish instead of giving me me 3 pieces of fresh fried fish and the fish that they previously given me which had gotten cold and soggy.
Oh, and season the fish, next time

Always delicious food. I highly recommend the Boudin balls. Absolutely delicious. Stuffed pork chops are very good as well. All in all very enjoyable experience.

This place was awesome for lunch. Fresh hot clean neat and very friendly. We had big plate of food. Had to go it and thta pecan pie was off the chain and a huge slice. I will be back to visit this place during lunch . Looks like a great place to have a company gathering are a birthday party. Thanks for the great customer service. Oh yea and they have tv screens mirrors everywhere.

I order a 10piece shrimp plate with fries, coleslaw on Uber eats. After waiting 45mins for my food I was very unhappy. Shrimp was rubbery and taste like they haven’t changed the grease in a while. I could barely eat the fries because they were so salty and coleslaw was not fresh. My delivery driver Becky with Uber Eats was sweet and communicated with me through the app and in person. I will never eat from this place every again I would have been better off ordering from McDonald’s.

So I finally broke down and ate here. Got the 10pc boiled shrimp, extra spicy. They allowed me to substitute my sides for okra and coleslaw and the waitress was so very nice, big smile, regular check ins without overdoing it.
Can I tell you, whatever sauce they used to spice the boiled shrimp was amazing!!!! I was in awe.
It may not look fancy but I challenge it against those that are. The prices are market so may seem a bit high but let me tell you, you get what you get pay for!

Nice little hole in the wall that turns into a lounge at some point. The food is amazing. We got the redfish poboy, catfish poboy, bacon burger, blackened catfish, loaded potato, and hush puppies. Everything was delicious and well assembled. The fish was fried for the sandwiches and the burgers were cooked perfectly and very large. We are visiting our family in Texas City and decided to drive 20 minutes for the fish. It did not disappoint. In fact, this may be our new family spot when we come in town.
