Fish On is a seafood forward restaurant with something for the Carnivores as well. We make all our batters, sauces, tortillas, and mill our corn to produce completely homemade grits. We are fast and causal with a fun vibe great beers and wine available and a friendly staff.

Fish in the fish n chips was really fishy tasting.. turned me off to the whole meal. They should probably choose a different fish for the fish n chips, like haddock or cod. Also maybe store it it better so it doesn’t taste like a raw fish in your mouth. The batter on the fish n chips is probably the worst I’ve ever had. Work on your batter recipe … it went soggy in like 2.5 sec. Overall the ambiance was great… the service was great… the food was mediocre at best.

This is an amazing place to swing in for a FANTASTIC meal and absolutely great staff and owners. I have to, the Szechuan Fish Bowl is absolutely worth the trip alone! I have never had a noodle dish where the absolute star of the dish was the noodles themselves. They were one of the most complex flavorful (slightly spicy) noodles I’ve ever had. With large pieces of fried fish and a very well balanced slaw nothing about this fish was anything short of amazing. I also sampled the prawn chips which were light, crunchy, and had a great spicy sauce drizzled over them. Rounding out the meal I tried a pickled egg and some house pickles and was blown away with how good they were. To drink I had a local Rathdrum breweries (Ho Country) marionberry cider and was pleasantly surprised by it’s berry flavor.

This is the best restaurant I’ve ever gone to. The food was out of this world! Service was phenomenal, and the atmosphere is very calm and chill. I recommend, “The Fish On!” Burger, and “Fried Artichoke Hearts”. Also the Root Beer is AMAZING! I am definitely coming back.

I personally am not understanding how they have such high reviews based on the food we had.
The fish and chips is VERY fishy tasting, makes it hard to eat. The batter tasted burnt and was soggy. One of the worst fish and chips i think I’ve ever had.
The other food was mediocre at best honestly. I would not recommend this place let alone eat her again. Expensive for the terrible food you get.

This place has for sure the best po boys in North Idaho. The catfish is my favorite. Steven has a great menu and great beer selection. Last time I had the smoked salmon hush puppies and they came with a killer dipping sauce but they didn’t even need it, so I used it for my fries.

The idea of seafood fusion is a fun one, but the execution is difficult. Smoked salmon hush puppies had no discernable fish, but were tasty and roulade was very good. Jambalaya was spot on for flavor, but again lacked seafood. Sichuan Fishbowl is your dish if you like heat and salt. Rockfish was unremarkable and weighed down by soggy breading. Great service and fair prices. We were just passing through, but this place seems popular with locals. You might like it.

Went for lunch with my friend, we had the fish and chips.
The portions were spot on. The fries were fresh and crispy with soft centers. The housemaid tarter sauce paired with the rockfish nicely.
The light covers made it feel like you were under water. The arcade game is a nice touch.

This place is awful! It’s a shame because the food is delicious BUT the service is awful! Google says they are open until 9 but the server sat there shutting everything down before 8! She also wouldn’t give me a highchair which means this place is not a family place! She shut down the pop machine so none of my kids could get a refill. She paid zero attention my table at all! I will not be back. Seriously rethink your staff!
