Food was fresh and tasty. We ordered the fried pickles, catfish and shrimp basket, and the cod basket. Drinks *including the beer* were flat. But they did let us change it out for a bottle. The restaurant itself was not very clean, but the staff was prompt and friendly. The vibe was cool and laid back.

This is probably my favorite seafood restaurant. There’s another great one I go to, but this specific restaurant and location is the most consistent at making the fish really well.
Whether it’s grilled, fried, ceviche style, or made in a stew, everything they serve is cooked perfectly, right. I haven’t had anything that I didn’t like and they do a fantastic job.
They also great cocktails if you’re there for that time of day, or based on what I’ve seen for some follks if you’re there for lunch.
Some of my favorite dishes.
– the daily specials during the week are delicious! And shockingly affordable
– the ceviche appetizer is a go-to for me and big enough for a meal
– I love their Caldo de Mariscos because it’s the only one I’ve come across so far that’s kind of a Cajun style with a red broth
You really cannot go wrong at this place. Five stars doesn’t feel like enough.

Had the Thursday 2 grilled catfish special today. Was really good with the tomato Serrano pepper salsa. Chips and salsa good too. All gone before i took the picture .

Expensive , Tasteless food , Cheap tequila margaritas that ended up in the sink , . The cashier guy they had that day , it was not honest about the total he charged for the order , and honestly if I knew they was gonna charge $30+ for that order I would’ve CANCELED it .
They’re OVERPRICED for the kind of food and acted like if they bring the tilapia fish from CHINA or UNITED KINGDOM . ( for the tariffs) lol .
I would not recommend this place to nobody since there’re other better options out there!

Great neighborhood seafood restaurant with good portion and reasonable prices. This is a busy place with many seating and order over the counter. We love the daily lunch menu. You will not have this pricing in Plano serving great tasty food.
Highly recommend this restaurant serving fresh oyster. You will not be disappointed.

They don’t call me Texas Catfish for nothing. Yall know I love my fish. I was on the east side of Plano today and stopped in at Fish N Tails off 75. I’m so glad I did. You can tell this place is managed correctly. Everyone working happy is just perfect. The manager needs to be recognized here. I ordered the 3 piece catfish fillet w fries and a side cup of red beans and rice. 3 fillets of catfish for 14.95 is a deal today. Food came out super hot and fresh. Nice size fillets were a little dusted and fried perfect. Big, huge, crispy steak fries. There were lots of lemon and some valentine hot sauce, and I was off. Huge fan of this place. Well done, and my hat off to the crew here.
