Food was excellent service was very friendly and engaging our server was informative and suggestive and also very prompt with our refills and constantly making sure we were satisfied with our food. We had the crab cakes both fried and grilled which were perfect the hush are very good also had had 1lb large shrimp which were pretty decent as well. The sweet tea is amazing the Mac n cheese is on point I wasn’t really a fan of the collard greens but overall this place is awesome.

This establishment has to be one of the best seafood go to spots in the Fredericksburg area, have an only receive takeout. This was my first time dining in the restaurant, from Booth seating(very comfortable also spacious), table seating also party room ( for bigger groups).I must say I was very impressed started off with the wonderful greeter seating us to our table with our excellent server Marlette( she was amazing ) . I highly recommend the crab dip for an appetizer, if you are with a group I do think you get a bigger bang for your buck if you get a platter because you can get a variety of entree items that are listed on the menu. Whether you are taken out or dining in I highly recommend Fish N’ Grill a delicious seafood restaurant.

This restaurant is now my favorite seafood restaurant!!! We live about 1 1/2 hrs away and come to Fredricksburg, Virginia to see the many things available to do for a fun weekend. . From historic/ colonial military battlefields, to shopping, Old Towne shopping area with gorgeous huge homes from colonial times, Mary Washington home (George’s mother) and tons of restaurants. Well we went to this wonderful seafood restaurant last night and will go again tonite for dinner. Their soups are homemade. Their creamy crab soup is the BEST I have ever eaten. Period. Soooo delicious. All of their seafood dinners are delicious looking, as I watched them go by me on the way to their tables. My husband had the shrimp. They even make their tartar sauce and cocktail sauce. Don’t laugh, the homemade cocktail sauce is the BEST and to die for. It tops off what you are eating perfectly!! I had the soup and 2 large sides. I couldn’t resist the candied yams and potato salad- both homemade of course. My husband tasted them and got 2 large each of those to go to eat later. Then, because we were stuffed, we ordered strawberry shortcake and banana pudding to go. Ok now I am an expert on banana pudding. This is the BEST banana pudding I have ever eaten. My husband agrees. Totally Heaven eating it. You will see what I mean, just get it. They also have a takeout side through another door if you want food to take it to go. They have a very nice private room for parties. Now the BEST part was out wonderful waitress Jennifer. She answered all of our questions, very nice, friendly, on top of everything, just the absolute best!!! Thank you Jennifer!!! We are coming back just to see her again and the WONDERFUL TASTY food. *** we came back tonite, 2 nites in a row. We both had the Cream of Crab soup again, so good!!! Plus I had the grilled flounder dinner and my husband had the clamp straps dinner. All sooo good. Marlette took care of us tonite. She was very friendly, again answered all questions and very fast on delivering everything. Checked on us several times to make sure we were doing well. She was wonderful!!! Jennifer was manager tonite, and she came out to say hello and check on us. It’s next door to Healing Hands spa.

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner there, and the service was truly excellent. We started with the crab dip and pita bread for our appetizer, which I highly recommend. My friend ordered the catfish sandwich, and I chose the scallops. The food arrived quickly and was absolutely delicious. If you love seafood and appreciate a modern or peaceful atmosphere, this is definitely a place you should try!

I came to eat here one time before on a recommendation from the locals. I have been craving the crab cakes ever since. Today I decided to take the EIGHTY-ONE mile trip just to get there. The food was just as good as I wanted it to be. The atmosphere quaint. The service SPECTACULAR! Jennifer was a buzz. To me it looked like she was the only one serving half of the restaurant but you would have never known because she was so light on her feet and pleasant…..now I have to get myself out a food coma to drive the 81 miles back home ♀️
If you want some DELICIOUS southern sides with KNOCK IT OUT THE PARK seafood this places is a must come. I’m told they are known for their chicken wings but I have not had them. The crab cakes will keep me coming back.

Just had the most amazing meal! Everything we ordered was so good the mac and cheese was sooo cheesy, the side dishes were amazing, the seafood was fresh and flavorful, and the fish and chips were made fresh and absolutely perfect. Grilled scallops and fried oysters were Soo delicious.
Someone suggested this restaurant to me, and honestly… OMG, why did no one introduce me to this place before?! The food and the interior are just wonderful. Definitely coming back again!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐I really enjoyed my visit to Fish N Grill! The seafood was absolutely deliciouseverything we tried was so yummy, and my kids just loved the food too. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and I really appreciated how clean the place was. I noticed they kept tidying up and making sure every section was spotless, which made the experience even better. Had a great time with my family here and I’m already looking forward to coming back!

Stopped here in a whim while in the area and now looking forward to our next visit. Portion sizes are ridiculous… so large. Lunch specials are amazing, even include your drink. Nice place to sit and eat or they offer carry out. Staff/servers were great!!! Very attentive and helpful.
It was our first visit and we got a free dessert, plus they ask if you’d like a drink to go.
This place is a little hidden gem!

This unassuming seafood restaurant in a strip shopping center is not too shabby. The staff is quite nice and attentive, and the decor is quite nice considering the location. The pricing on some of their items leave not to be desired considering what you’re getting. I would definitely say dine in versus carryout as the food portions very wildly. Don’t get me wrong, the food tastes great. I care for elderly parents so going to sit down to dine is not always an option. I’ve done carry out a couple times and I’ll be honest. I’ve been disappointed. For example, family chicken dinners are great value. Eight pieces of chicken and two sides and the pricing is not too bad. On the contrary, for $10 I received four fried oysters and a boatload of fries. I purchased the same oyster order in house and felt the value was quite fair. If your first experience is carry out, you may not return. Eat in is the way to go here
