This was a really fun experience! You fish for your own trout and they cook it up for you. It was delicious but I had a hard time with all the bones, so maybe experienced trout eaters would have a better experience.
My husband, the trout fisherman, had no troubles. He did say the fisherman was not as tasty as wild caught but still very good.

Sweet folks at this restaurant serves good foods. We normally cook because our food is great, but fellow campers said there food was delicious. They were right! We’ve had 3 tasty breakfasts here– chicken fried steak with gravy and eggs, fresh trout, and biscuits and gravy. We don’t normally eat trout, but they showed us how to debonair it, and it was amazing! We haven’t had dinner here, but it’s always busy.

We took our 2 kids here this afternoon to catch a few fish for dinner and they had a blast! The staff was incredibly kind, helpful, and patient with my small kids as they worked to catch their fish. The whole experience was so much fun and we even made the brag board!
Next time we are vacationing in the area we would definitely come back! The campground looks clean and we would definitely set up our tent here next time as well!

So fun! We stopped to eat and they were so nice. I caught my first ever fish, watched it being cleaned and prepped and then they fried it up delicious. I wish we had been able to camp here.

My son really wanted to go fishing and I found Fish N Fry through a Google search. The staff helped him bait the hook and gave him pointers on how to cast and where the fish would bite. They also tried different bait until he caught a fish (it didn’t take long). Then they cooked it up for a great lunch. It was a fantastic experience with super friendly people, beautiful scenery, and a yummy lunch. I would highly recommend!!

Cool place. Catch your own fish and they clean & cook them for you. Took us about 10 minutes to catch six decent size rainbows. Everyone at the cafe is super nice and helpful. Great experience & food and highly recommend!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. They didn’t complain when my 4 year old gradaughter through her fish back in the pond by mistake. The food was very good – frys, coleslaw, fish and cheese burgers. There were games to play and room to play them without bothering other guests. We enjoyed our time at the restaurant!

This was a lot of fun. Just drop in and ask to go fishing. Everything is provided and you just pay per inch for a rainbow trout 85 cents. Stephen and his beautiful wife were absolute gems. He made sure the kids knew how to cast and kept an eye on them while chatting with us. They will clean the fish and pack it in ice if you want to take it home or alternatively they can prepare it for you right on the spot.
