As a southerner that’s traveled the country a lot I love giving reviews for nice spots. This is a good takeout spot, I hear the chicken is bomb but my family wanted fish and chips after spending an Autumn day at the lake. The friendly staff waited until they knew I was close to fry the fish so that it would be as hot and crunchy as it could be. The Perch was great, I would recommend it and order it again. The walleye wasn’t for me, it had an odd flavor. Everything came with delicious rolls and sauce.

Live down the street and never came to this place, Now it’s my one place I love there fish with lemon Juice. Very nice staff and very quick. I recommend this place. Have not had anything disappointing. Got to try them Tenders everyone talks about!!

Went in and ordered 2 fish dinners and I added 2 chicken wings to my order. Got home and the chicken tasted like fish! It was disgusting! I didn’t have time to go back so I just threw it in the garbage. Went back recently to try the chicken tenders and as I was ordering I mentioned how the last time the chicken tasted like fish and it must’ve been fried in fish grease or the chicken had turned and was spoiled. The male cashier, He immediately denied any wrong doing and basically called me a liar. I didn’t want a refund or a replacement. So clearly there was no incentive on my part to lie.
So since there was no cross contamination that means they’re serving people spoiled chicken, I will be reporting this incident to The MDARD & also to The Food Sanitation and Foodborne Illness complaints. Maybe they’ll take my complaint more seriously than this owner did.
DEFINITELY will not be back.

I requested my fish (perch) to be fried hard. I got home and checked my order and it wasn’t fried to my expectations, it was fried soft. It wasn’t good at all. I should have checked my order prior to leaving. Lesson learned!!
